Hey Guys!A true friend is someone who has touched your heart and will stay there. Someone you care for, who cares for you. Someone you can do the stupidest things around and always be forgiven. Someone you'll *** in ten years because they are in your heart and not just your mind. They have the ability to change you, even if they don't. They will be etched in your memories forever. I enjoy spending time with my friends and unfortunately for me, most of my friends live out of state or are in relationships and their lives are busy. I don't mind going to the bar and shooting some pool every once in a while but it is not my weekly or monthly agenda. Wanna have some laughs and go exploring a place you have never been? Do you value communication? I have many friends that live out of state that I don't talk to on a daily, monthly, or weekly basis....it's okay with me, they are in my heart and if I need them they are there for me and vise versa. Are you that type of friend? Are you seeking a friend for advice about how we women think? I am (not tooting my own horn here) a fantastic friend :)I am seeking friends first....I believe everyone is special in their own way and there is someone for everyone. I believe in integrity, the truth is always found out. Why carry a lie around with you making your life more difficult then just being honest with yourself. I don't know too many people in the area as I moved down here almost 2 years ago and have been commuting to my workplace until July when I finally transferred closer to home. I don't date people I meet at work or people that I work with. I believe that is not professional.....(besides, who wants to see someone every waking minute of every single day?) I'm sorry, I find that to be overwhelming. I enjoy my independence and not having to clean around the bottom of the toilet on a daily basis....(how is your aim?) I don't believe in putting out on the first date....second date....third date....oh wait....we aren't dating, remember??? I guess when I feel like there is a connection there and I wish to build on that friendship and the feeling is mutual....I will go with the flow ;) I am not seeking a fwb either...if that's your pleasure, keep on keeping on my friend, There are plenty of fish in the sea ;PUpdate....okay, so previously I was a non-smoker.....then I was an occasional smoker.....then I was a non-smoker....I have to say....I just am not very good at being a quitter! In all honesty, I fully quit smoking for well over a year....stress and lack of support overcame me and cigarettes became my crutch again, although I am not a heavy smoker and maybe smoke a pack a week....some days I don't smoke at all. It all just depends on what's going on.

I also like to be adored... not because I'm a princess (although... I am a princess... :)....) but tell me when I look beautiful, or smell good, or that you like my hair, or what ever. I wanna know that you are looking at me and what you think. I also want my man to NOT have a wandering eye... get it?!CONVERSATION: good gravy, its hard to get conversation out of some men. I feel like I have to work SO HARD just to get men to talk. Ask about me... ask what I do, how was my day, did I stub my toe, or tell me about your day.... did you stub your toe? Did you drop anything or make any big messes, hear any good jokes, have an epiphany, just talk. How else are we gonna know if we like each other if we just keeping sending *** are like 5 words. Lots of people just give me simple replies...for example, I'll say "hi, hope you are doing well. i'm dang tired...worked 10 hours today. how about you? im thinking of going to dinner with a friend, but after that i was gonna take a walk. its cold, though." and the reply will be "im good." HOW BORING AND DULL. :) Look alive, people!My goals and aspirations are kinda fuzzy right now... Most anyone would say "to be happy and successful," so that is a given. I'd like to do more traveling, and I'd like to own my own business someday, some sort of fun but suddenly "can't live without it" business... and I'd like to be involved with more non-profits, I have a heart for the needy.Well, lets see...more about me... I like dogs and most other animals quite a bit. Since I live in an apartment, I don't have any dogs living with me. Cant decide if I want the responsibility, and later on ...the heartache of losing another pet. I also did 6 or 7 countries with my mother when I was a teenager.I have a college degree,...actually 2 majors. Criminal Justice and Sociology. Can't find a job in that field...at least none around here. Don't really want to relocate, so for now.. doing something that is in a semi-related field (behavioral / mental health), and just waiting til I find my dream job.I'm not much into sports, I'd rather go to a game than watch it on t.v. I used to really like Nascar, but that kinda passed, but if I did.. I’ Recently I've watched soccer a bit. I guess my favorite sport would be softball. BUT I will watch sports and, from time to time, get into it.Outdoors....well, if it isn't too hot or too cold…then I'm OK with going outside. I like canoeing and camping. Not much on fishing, though I haven't done it a long time. Hiking sounds like it would exhaust me, but I'm sure the scenery would be great. I do like swimming... in Grandma's pool.Gosh.. I am unique because I am multifaceted, I can blend in with most any crowd (country folk, city divas, etc... you get the idea). I am fun and outgoing, responsible, smart, kinda beautiful (haha), educated, and I don't know... I feel like i'm saying all the same things that everyone else says. I'll have to think about this and update it later.Music... I like most any music. Top 40/pop, blues, jazz, rock, classic rock, country, gospel, r&b, western harmony, world music, classical, even Dr. Demento, etc. I don't care much for super hard death metal, or rap...just a lil rap.I'm a mother of ***, 21 and 23), and the grandmother of ***year old, and an 1 year old as of Sept ***. And have an former step daughter who I can't help but think of as my own, she is 24.Other things... Im a little bit impatient, I like all the information out on the table. :) There are deal breakers that I have (surely everyone has them, even if they dont want to admit it). Shallow? Perhaps. Honest? Yes!I guess I could go on, but at this point.. if you are still reading... kudos to you! :) ~Nikki I think going to a coffee house to have a muffin and coffee, or maybe a light lunch or dinner would be a great first date. Some place where the environment is visually stimulating so that you would have things to talk about in order to get to know each other. Dinner and drinks might be a good starter, also... they have Gelato, too!

I spend much of my time with my children. I have raised them on my own for the last 6 years. So much of my time has been spent carring for them. Now that they are getting older they are secure in who they are and becoming more independent. This has allowed me more free time to pursue a relationship.As far as music I enjoy Contemporary Christian, Praise and Worship. I have not seen a movie that is rated over PG***for over 6 years. As far as Super Heros and Star Wars I am almost an expert! lol When I do get a chance to watch tv I prefer to watch crime drama or comedy shows.I have been raised in church and attended Bible College for youth ministry in 95 and later came back to my area an worked with at risk youth. God opened the door for me to go through the Police Acadamy were I graduated and pursued a career in Law Enfocement. I work as a patrolman and worked for the Juveline Court in my area. Later when I married and began having children it became difficult being both mom and a police officer so I willingly gave up my career in order to be a stay at home mom. Now that the boys are all in school I am currently back in college to get a degree in counseling.My boys are very loving and want to have a stepdad that will be involved in their lives. We are open and ready to see what God has for us next. I have been blessed with Godly people in my life that helped me get through these last 6 years. My faith is very important to me and I am determined to raise my children in a Godly home.If you do not want young children (11,9,8 and 6) or feel you are to old to raise children PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND. Also please honestly consider if you are the type of person who could love and raise another mans offspring as your own. Their father will never have custody of them but they love their dad. If you can not handle them seeing their dad on a monthly basis or calling once a week we are not for you! Dinner and talking. I am at a point in my life that I want "all the cards on the table"
