-- well I guess it's because I'm a sucker for a "It just might can happen for me kinda fairy tale, and Mr. RIght for me is going to read this!" kinda girl. Other than the traditional norms that a person likes, I value a sense of humor, a person who actually knows how to use the following words: too, to, two, your, you're, then, than, our, are, and I'm sure I could think of a few more if I tried, so in other words - intelligence - is important to me. I like affection - please be deep enough to get that statement. I'd like someone interested in being active and fit because I'm so busy that I lack ambition in that area at times. And I really really like a guy who smells good and can hug you and you know you've just been wrapped up in the most comfortable pair of arms in the world--the kind of hug you never want to walk away from and you can still feel it later in the day. Me: I'm strong & I'm weak. I'm not dramatic, but can get overwhelmed and irritable at times. Sometimes I can probably get my feelings hurt a little too easily & I may need to work on that. I'm told I'm intelligent, sweet, kind, and funny--but all that comes from my talking chihuahua and my daughter, so I'm not sure that even counts, lol. I'm not a glamour girl, I'm not high maintenance, and I spend more of my time doing than getting ready to do something. I Love to do lots of things so it's hard to miss with me in the what to do area. If we agree to meet I don't want the first meeting to be a "date" but more like a low key, no pressure for either of us kinda hang out and talk kind of meeting or we could do something simple together. I think people figure out pretty quickly if the terms of the meeting need to change to date status, which I do hope will happen if we make it that far! ;-)I don't smoke, I do not do drugs, rarely ever drink, do not want any more babies coming out of my body--the ones I've already carried did enough damage, haha! One more thing--I'm not a serial dater, and I'm EXTREMELY loyal and always faithful, so that's something you'd NEVER have to worry about with me and I expect the same.--I'm too old for you! ROFL! I mean its cute and all, but come on, It cracks me up! So, if you're interested--go ahead and fire up that message button. Something low key-yet possibly a little active because I'm always nervous when meeting someone I like. :D

I cannot describe my personality in one word, at least a dozen of those words describe me (artsy, hippie, hedonist, geek, sapiophile, etc. etc.). Yup, human beings are dynamic, go figure.I love my life, my kids, my dogs... even my son's cat. At this point I would describe my life as nearly perfect. I'm happy with all I have, all I've done, all I've let go, and all that I hold dear. I have a descent job (career)... I absolutely loathe shopping, I'm not into makeup and fashion is just something that happens... So, yeah, I'm not a "high maintenance girly girl". I do, however, love to cook. I'm a chronic quitter... with smoking that is. I've done this on again/off again thing for years, quitting for 2 years at a time. One day it will stick, just hasn't yet. I've been on my own for a long time. I preferred to raise my kids without a "step-parent" in the picture. I guess I'm a little old-school in that regard. But now they are nearly grown, it's time to change pace. What I seek is another completely dynamic person with positive and negative qualities that mesh well with my own positive and negative qualities (yes, we all have them both). I would prefer someone relatively close to my age who is a music and art lover. Someone who likes to hike, bike and stay active. Someone who is secure in who they are on their own and as a "couple". By no means do I "need" anyone to the point that I'll settle again, that never works. All that I have is too important to let just anyone in. Compatibility, communication, commrodary... Those are all top priorities. And, of course, the standard, honest, sincere, intelligent, kind... yadda yadda...
