I'm a young, fun 45 year old who loves spending time with friends...cooking for them, wine tasting, attending sporting events. I golf when I can, however my game needs work. I like to stay active but enjoy downtime too...reading, movies, hanging by the fire pit. I'm open to trying new things, I don't mind getting dirty..revamped my back yard this summer, even planted an apple tree! I haven't been camping in a long time..would love to go..but the opportuninty hasn't presented itself. The most important thing to me in any relationship is communication. Having meaningful, intellectual conversations is crucial. I'm independant, happy with my life but often feel something's missing. I don't believe we're meant to be alone. I value honesty, respect, and loyalty. Life is so incredibly short I want to enjoy it with someone healthy and grounded, someone with the ability to laugh at the little things, himself, and me.     NOT SEEKING INTIMATE ENCOUNTERS First off I'm a single Mom and I work VERY hard. If you DON'T like kids..(or my dogs) .. we won't get along. I dont' care about the latest fashion trends but more into my own style and comfort :) However, I do like dressing upon occasion.. This being said..I'm not your hunting or fishing pal either. I work very hard at what I do...and I like to relax and have fun. My career is in healthcare and I'm surrounded by folks who are physically and emotionally dependant on me for their every need. This means I like to relax and mellow out after work -- not see how many clubs can be seen in a night. First date? Hmmmm I'm a coffee and tea drinker...I DO drink, albeit more socially or with friends. I used to go dancing all the time but after working so many consecutive years in healthcare running on my feet all day/night, I kind of lost the drive to do so LOL...yet I do like to do so from time to time. I love to shoot pool even though I'm terrible at it. I have a minor competitive streak that comes out of me when surrounded by good friends, laughter, pool tables n beer.
