About Me

I'm a woman who almost always has a smile on her face. I look for the silver lining in every situation. I know God has a plan for me and I hold on to that even when it seems like things aren't going my way.I love to laugh and laugh easily. Sometimes at completely innapropriate things. I like to make others laugh too but don't always think quick on my feet. I usually come up with the *** 2 days too late.I'm pretty shy at first. I'm not completely the same person with everybody. I don't have multiple personalities... just different people draw out different aspects of me. I'm an observer but not very observant if that makes any sense at all.I'm not a daredevil. I have no desire to skydive, EVER! But I'd love to go ziplining. Maybe parasailing or in a hot air balloon. I love riding on the back of a motorcycle. I would consider learning to ride my own. I will write a book someday. I would love to learn to shoot. I love camping. I think I like fishing. I'd like to be a gardener someday.I love music. I will most often be listening to classic rock, country or contemporary christian. My favorite tv shows are Law and Order SVU, NCIS and Chopped. I love to read romance novels and home decor magazines. I did read the 50 shades books. No, I am not into that lifestyle.I have three kids. My 17 year old daughter lives with me full time and my 11 year old son lives with his dad but spends a few days of the week with me. He thinks mom is pretty boring on her own so hopes that I find a friend that likes to do cool stuff.I would like to find a man with nice eyes and an easy smile. Belief in God is an absolute must. I desire to lead a healthier life and be more active so it would be great if those are your goals also. Someone who is considerate of others' feelings and not judgemental. Someone who still has a lot of life and fun in them and isn't ready to just sit on the couch and retire. Someone who is more outgoing than myself (which doesn't take much) who will gently and patiently ease me past my own comfort zone to try new things. I'd like a man that can be strong and assertive without being an overbearing ass. I want to live life with purpose on purpose and would like to find someone with that same mindset. Hiking, walking along the waterfront, a street fair.... anything that isn't just sitting across the table from each other. Being fairly shy, small-talk isn't my strong suit especially with someone I've never met before so if there is some kind of activity that would kind of take the edge off.

    My hobby is scrapbooking. I love to take pictures and scrapbook them. There is something about making fun memories and then looking back on them and smiling over and over. I love love love it. I like a variety so it isn't hard to enjoy the music no matter where I am usually. I have two nephews that are like my own children that I love dearly. I have a great niece and great nephew that are absolutely ADORABLE! I love to have friends come to our house, cook outside, swim and play games that always makes a good night a great one. I am compassionate, giving and a good person. I would probably like to have some dates talking and getting to know each other a little better so somewhere nice that we could set and have a conversation together would be a good date. I like to go to Riverwalk when it is nice outside. Later in the summer I really enjoy the bands they have there. I enjoy going to the movies. I like action movies and comedies. I like going to eat at a nice restaraunt that you can eat and talk.. just enjoy each others company. I would like to have a date with friends sometime. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends so that would definately be a first date option if you would enjoy that.
