I really, really . . . REALLY. HATE. online dating!!!!!!! How is a person supposed to decide whether or not they want to meet a person based on a picture, and blurb about what they like, and don't like? Oh well, my female colleagues say, "Get OUT there! How are you going to find someone if you don't? Look at so-n-so, SHE found her man on such-n-such". So . . . here I am. Yay me (channeling Eeyore). I LOVE shooting pool, classic cars, and have a passion for animals that will turn me into a raving lunatic if I see abuse or neglect. I worked for ten-plus years in the animal medical field, and am now in financing.I love being outdoors, camping, hiking, ANYTHING! I also enjoy sitting around reading a book, watching movies, and pretending to be a beached whale (who doesn't?). I enjoy an occasional night out; dancing, dining, and expanding my horizons. I really enjoy experiencing different cuisines, beverages, and activities.     So what can I tell you about myself? I guess the first thing that I should tell you is that I have one daughter. She is what I am most grateful for in life. I try to be the best mother and role model that I can be for her. But there is a lot more to me than just being a good mom.I have worked in law enforcement for the last 15 years, so I can be tough when I need to, but most of the time I am pretty nice. I am actually probably not what you picture when you think of an officer. I am pretty shy until I get to know someone. After I get to know a person I open up easily. I like to laugh and have fun. I'm a good listener and I try to do whatever I can to help the people that I care about.I like the simple things in life. I enjoy going to the movies or out to dinner. I am a social drinker but I can be perfectly happy not drinking at all. I'm mainly a jeans and blouse type of girl, but it is nice to get dressed up once in awhile for a nice night out. I'm hoping to meet someone who enjoys some of the same things that I enjoy. I'm hoping to meet someone who can add new experiences to my life and who I can add new experiences to theirs. I do believe in love, but I don't believe it is something that you find overnight. I know that a solid relationship takes time to grow and that it is not always easy. I'm willing to put in the effort when I meet that special someone.
