I am a positive person. The type that always sees the cup half full, never half empty. I believe someone's true character is shown when people are at the bottom. The way one handles these situations defines who you truly are. I'm not one who likes to live life with any "what if's". To take chance is to truly live. You can't live in the past if you want to move on to see what the future holds. So many get stuck looking at the door that closed that they can't turn around for even a second to see the door that has opened. You will rarely see me without a smile on my face. I am a very kindhearted person that shows compassion to everyone regardless of their status in life. You never know what a kind word, a kind gesture, a kind deed, or even a simple smile can do for someone in life. I live my life doing all of these. I debated on even writing anything because the day I put up my profile and my pictures uploaded I got bombarded with messages within a matter of minutes. I second guessed the online dating at that moment thinking, "are people really that superficial that they don't even care about who I am, not what I look like". What is inside of me is more beautiful than my outside could ever possibly be. I know that we must be attracted to someone, but I actually read profiles to see if I would be interested in a person. I don't just base it on the pictures of whether I will respond or not. We are all looking for someone to share our lives with and it will take a lot more than looks to get me to settle down with a man. I am looking for one special man in my life. I am not looking for the perfect man, I am looking for the prefect man for me. He must be kind, know how to love and be loved, have a great sense of humor (very important to me, he must make me laugh), and intelligent. If you have any kind of mental illness, a serial dater, anger issues, jealousy issues, take any illegal drugs, live with your mom, or have commitment issues, please, pass me by! I have no drama in my life and I don't want anyone else's. Ain't nobody got time that. I hate to even have to put this but found it to be necessary. I am looking for a certain type of person just like everyone else on here. I don't need hate mail.
