I would like to think that by this stage in my life I have my act together. I have my own place, my own car, my own money, and a job that makes me feel like I make a difference. I teach English to high school students, and I love working with kids. Teenagers get a bad rap; they aren't the crazy monsters people think they are. I think that the first word people would use to describe me would be "funny." And, honestly, that's pretty true. I love to make people laugh...I don't mind being the funny girl in the room if it means that everyone is having a good time and truly enjoying each other. But, I don't have to be the center of attention. I am open-minded and don't see a need to judge anyone by any factor other than how they treat others.I come from a large, Italian family, and, although it has its moments, I wouldn't change that. At the end of the day, they are the ones who have always been there and will continue to be. I also come from a family of athletes - I played college basketball and enjoy working out. I like running - mostly I like setting a goal and achieving it. I love to travel and spend time with good friends. I'm looking for someone who is done with games, has it together, and is open to possibilities. I don't like to put a lot of pressure on a first date. I'd rather act like I've known you forever. Something casual and active is good - going to a game or out with friends - yours or mine.

    Animal Lover? Most would probably classify that as an understatement. If you don’t really like animals, I’m not the person for you. My animals are part of the package. I enjoy being at home because I enjoy spending time with my animals, but, I also tend to work long days Monday through Thursday and like to relax and recoup. That doesn’t mean that I’’t want to be out every night. I tend to be a casual person…jeans and yoga pants, even when working. I do enjoy the opportunity to dress up, it just doesn’t happen on a daily or even a weekly basis.The long working days come from owning my business. I love what I do! I sometimes have to work weekends but not the whole thing. There is flexibility in my schedule, in the end I chose the hours I work. I’ve spent the last two years starting and working on my business, it’s been busy but I guess I’ve always been a busy person and likely always will be. It’s time for a little more balance.Some of the things I enjoy are my family and friends, my animals, crafting, reading, music (will listen to almost anything), photography, and the outdoors (as long as it’s not cold and there’s not a lot of bugs!). I will try almost anything once (except things like skydiving and bungee jumping). I can cook if I have to and will sometimes enjoy it if I have the time, but tend to avoid it. I need more balance in the eating and working out part of my life! I would love to travel more!I’m independent, loyal, unbiased, somewhat shy, and can be stubborn.
