About Me

I take great pride in being a shark on the pool table and like to go dancing with my friends when we can make that magic happen. In my quiet time I like to read non-fiction new age books, go walking, visit with friends and family, and crochet. I used it to quit smoking 9 years ago and still use it to keep my hands busy.I never watch TV and only have cable at all because it's cheaper to watch hockey at home than at the bar twice a week. I love talking cuz talking's my favourite and I really like to get into the good stuff over a bottle of wine. I love people, am fascinated by them and have a positive outlook in general, with a sick sense of humor that I don't apologize for. I'll take the shirt off my back for a stranger if they ask nicely, and have no tolerance for unkindness and selfishness, although I do think it's important to love yourself and put yourself first, or you're no good to anyone. My family and friends are the most important people in my life and I am known for my hugs which I hand out willingly to absolutely anyone who wants one. Hugs feel good, they're (usually) free and they heal - you just never know who needs a good healing.I love to laugh, laughing at myself most often, but if you make fun of me too much, I will get pissy because hey - no one likes a bully. I've learned that what I do for a living is far less important to me than it having merit and contributing to the greater good, but I do enjoy the satisfaction of achieving life-altering goals and have done so, and have failed, more than once.Enough about me, let's talk about you. YOU are easy going, funny and like to shoot the shit. You can take the piss, but don't do it to over-compensate for your insecurities, and you certainly don't cry like a girl when someone takes the piss outa you. You still open doors for the ladies and are in no way offended by sexual innuendo. I'd absolutely LOVE it if you knew the difference between ‘their’, ‘they're’ and ‘there’, but will settle for legible penmanship and sharp wit. You don't have all the answers, but you know yourself pretty good and have goals. You shower daily and show up for work even when you've had too much the night before because paying your bills is at least in the middle-top area of your priority list...I'm kidding about Cher, but I do like Moonstruck and Mask). You've got the music in your soul and can hold your own in a social atmosphere, but like to spend time alone with me because gazing into my eyes and making me smile is your most favourite thing ever. ;) I prefer the unintimidating casual approach, like meeting at a local pub or casual dining restaurant, have a wee chat and meal, go for a barefoot walk in the grass...whatever pleases us. We don't need to spend money to have fun.

    About me..... I'm a happy, kind, sweet, funny, practical country girl... my family & friends are very important to me. I have a close family & a great group of friends. I would do about anything for them & like to think they would do the same for me. I’m a farmer/rancher’’ve always been involved in the family farm and I’m very attached to it.
