Hello and thanks for dropping in and reading a little about me!I have a pretty great life, great family, great business and a good head on my shoulders with a positive attitude. I completely feel blessed in my life but also believe in the power of intention and attitude to create our destiny. I am a glass half full kind of person and enjoy being around likeminded people. Its funny, when I was young I used to think that by the time I would be this age, life would be all figured out, and we have all been around the block in experiences, achievements and knowledge, but I find that I am continually learning and developing more and more awareness even on a deeper level and embrace the experiences and growth it brings. I was always career oriented when I was younger and since I reached a level I am comfortable with, I have been really soul searching about what I am really looking for in a partner. I have had successful relationships but never felt like I had found the ONE I was meant to be with, and stayed comfortable. It took me until now to know the difference. The truth is we only live once, and deserve the passion, the team, the spirit and connection in finding the one person who can take our already satisfied life and take it to a new level. After all, relationships isn't what we get out of it, but what we give into it. I would say I am at the time in my life where my focus is to create and find that relationship that maybe I only dreamed about before. I have a common saying that when I sit in my rocking chair in my senior years, I want to be able to tell my cool life story. I don't want to be a person who sat at home existing, but rather embrace the one time we have on this earth and take it all in.. I love to travel, take in cultures and embrace the countries with as much diversity to our culture. I am not your high maintenance girl who always takes forever to get ready or wont partake in a activity because of the fear my hair may get messed. I also dont live for shopping. I am more the girl who gets excited at the idea of us being on the water boating, RVing and pretty much up for trying anything new. I was raised and spent most my life on the water boating and it has been large part of my life that I am passionate about. I feel a strong gravitation to the ocean and feel like its a part of my life I could not live without. I love exploring especially my time in Desolation Sound and the amazing places BC offers. Im very generous and loyal, but aware of those who take advantage. I am warm and thoughtful of others feelings. I know my time and my place and also love to laugh. I have been told often I have good energy. I also love making a difference in peoples lives. I do this in my career and am passionate about it. I dress up, can go anywhere, in any environment but also enjoy my flip flops.I have accomplished a lot in my personal life and my career all by myself, but that doesn't mean I don't have a desire to have a man who will be my man. I still love the feeling of a man who wants to care for me, and I will contribute just as much if not more in return. Chivalry is not completely dead and its highly appreciated when it happens. Its not an expectation of mine, I am just saying that it will be very well noted and adored when I am treated special. Most important, I want to find my best friend, lover, and the person who has my back, that I can trust and rely on. Someone who wants to make me laugh, and also pitch in a lending hand. I am passionate at the consistent evolution of 'whats next' in my career and my life and love being stimulated with like minded people. I have had great role models in my life, my father was an amazing man and my brother is such a great husband and father. I feel blessed for those relationships.I would love to meet new people, make friends meanwhile having someone to share some adventures with and seeing where it goes. Anyone who knows me would say there is not a shy bone in my body. I love to talk to people from all walks of lives and what they bring in conversation, even if its a stranger on a park bench for 10 minutes. That said, I find myself super shy in the initial dating process. In fact, I would rather have a root canal! lol.. I need a bit of time to settle in so to speak.. its not that I don't have anything to say..it might just come out stupid haha.. Im just sayin.. but Im a smart cookie, and well grounded. I love the island living, though I have the best of both worlds. If you are a stand up guy, loyal, caring and thoughtful, playful/funny with the splash for adventure I am excited to know you.. at whatever level it leads to..I love impulse stuff so if you are wanting to get out of the house for impromtu movie or walk on the seawall... Im the girl! a walk on the seawall, seeing something new or a great patio.. paddle boarding perhaps?? ;)
