I've gotta say...the thing I miss most is having that special friendship with a guy. You know...the kind where you share flirty inside jokes, the say anything to each other, I've got your back type of relationship that simply makes you happy. Fun, no drama or games. Just easy. Don't you miss that too?I'm a happy person and love to laugh. Really...its true :) I believe in open and honest communication. Lets talk about it...so much better to know what a person is thinking than to try to guess whats on their mind. I'm open minded and value the opinions of others. I love to keep active and equally enjoy staying in. I like the usual...sharing laughs with my friends, going out, appetizers and beer, red wine, a drive to somewhere or nowhere, exercise, throw in a game of bowling from time to time...everything else in between....its really all good with the right person :) I like pretty much all types of music and listen to it often. If you're an Honest and kind man, with a good sense of humor, and someone who enjoys life, looking for friendship and more...I'd love to hear from you. Somehow I have a feeling we would get along great :))

I am over-educated but still down-to-earth -- I'll take an evening of playing cards and listening to music over a night out at the theater any time. My favorite music is classic rock (Who, Beatles, Stones, Aerosmith and the like) but I'm also a great fan of classic 80s punk and new wave, and my true roots lie in bluegrass and folk. (Country and western? No thank you.) I'm also fond of reading -- popular fiction, literary fiction, poetry, popular non-fiction -- and I admit that half of my enjoyment of reading lies in analysis, searching for deeper meaning.-- walking through the woods, sitting by a campfire, drinking in the beauty of nature. I love my work, and while I occasionally dream of retirement, I can't really imagine a life without meaningful and fulfilling employment. My family is extremely important to me, so I'm looking for someone who wants to be an important part of my world -- not the center of it. My ideal first date is to meet somewhere, either over a cup o'coffee or a beer, to play cribbage and talk. I'm willing to teach you the game, but I won't throw a game to lull you into a false sense of security!
