My perfect day is waking up to my English Setter's nose at the side of the bed eager for me to take her for a walk. I have to make sure I get in a cup of coffee before putting on my sneakers or she starts barking with excitement. We normally take the long trail which is about a half hour. Upon our return she swims laps in the pool and sometimes I do also. Healthy shake for breakfast and then catch a Yoga class. Business as usual for the day. Wrap up in time to grab my IPOD, good bottle of wine and catch a magnificent sunset over the lake. I take a soothing candle light bubble bath then settle in and watch a great movie or read a good book. I have read 12 books this year and seen every decent movie that has come out in the last year. Learning one liners from movies is a passion. I thought "The Campaign" was very funny. I only use texting as a necessity to communicate not as a way to build a friendship. I am worth picking up the phone and getting to know. I have great stories and have been told that I am very interesting and a great friend. I remain friends with everyone I have ever dated. I know, hard to believe, but life is just to short not to. I believe in immediate chemistry so I think its best to keep it simple and do a quick meet and greet over coffee or a drink.

I truly enjoy the simplest things in life. I am not a material type of person and what matters to me the most are the important people in my life..... family & friends! Hanging out with family and friends and having bbq's etc is an awesome way to spend a warm afternoon. A drive in the country, going to a motorcycle show or just a simple walk at night makes me happy. I absolutely love dogs and find them very loyal and always there for you. I enjoy sitting in watching movies, or going out for a coffee, even sitting on a porch just relaxing is cool.I believe in being true to someone and I would prefer to live paycheck to paycheck and be truly happy with who I am with rather then have money with a partner but not be happy with them. Sure money makes life easier but when you share your heart with someone that is really what makes you happy and able to endure the rough times. I enjoy classic rock, rock and country music.My preference in dating a man is someone who is strong minded but able to talk, must be open minded and if I am to be completely honest, what do I find attractive in a man, well I pefer average to a few extra pounds. I would like to meet someone relatively close to where I live as I do not see myself moving too far from where I am but then again you never know right. I do smoke so meeting someone who also smokes would be good as not very many non smokers want to be with someone who smokes.I prefer to meet someone on a friend type level and if something sparks from that then that is great. I am not someone who wants to meet someone and jump into a life together that night.... realistically you need to know someone before those kinds of decisions come into play.I am a very down to earth, easy going person who does not want drama and bs in my life and I certainly do not want to deal with someone who is still trying to get over an ex.I have been single and living on my own for the last 6 years so I am quite capable of taking care of myself I am just at a point that I would like to share things with someone who I am compatible with.If you like my profile then message me and we can go from there..
