My perfect day is waking up to my English Setter's nose at the side of the bed eager for me to take her for a walk. I have to make sure I get in a cup of coffee before putting on my sneakers or she starts barking with excitement. We normally take the long trail which is about a half hour. Upon our return she swims laps in the pool and sometimes I do also. Healthy shake for breakfast and then catch a Yoga class. Business as usual for the day. Wrap up in time to grab my IPOD, good bottle of wine and catch a magnificent sunset over the lake. I take a soothing candle light bubble bath then settle in and watch a great movie or read a good book. I have read 12 books this year and seen every decent movie that has come out in the last year. Learning one liners from movies is a passion. I thought "The Campaign" was very funny. I only use texting as a necessity to communicate not as a way to build a friendship. I am worth picking up the phone and getting to know. I have great stories and have been told that I am very interesting and a great friend. I remain friends with everyone I have ever dated. I know, hard to believe, but life is just to short not to. I believe in immediate chemistry so I think its best to keep it simple and do a quick meet and greet over coffee or a drink.

I am over-educated but still down-to-earth -- I'll take an evening of playing cards and listening to music over a night out at the theater any time. My favorite music is classic rock (Who, Beatles, Stones, Aerosmith and the like) but I'm also a great fan of classic 80s punk and new wave, and my true roots lie in bluegrass and folk. (Country and western? No thank you.) I'm also fond of reading -- popular fiction, literary fiction, poetry, popular non-fiction -- and I admit that half of my enjoyment of reading lies in analysis, searching for deeper meaning.-- walking through the woods, sitting by a campfire, drinking in the beauty of nature. I love my work, and while I occasionally dream of retirement, I can't really imagine a life without meaningful and fulfilling employment. My family is extremely important to me, so I'm looking for someone who wants to be an important part of my world -- not the center of it. My ideal first date is to meet somewhere, either over a cup o'coffee or a beer, to play cribbage and talk. I'm willing to teach you the game, but I won't throw a game to lull you into a false sense of security!

I lost my twin sister this year. It made me realized there's more to life than just work. I want to have fun, meet new people. Be adventures and enjoy life more often. Laugh, smile, and have fun.. P.S. I work graveyard Have some coffee in a mid size place. Nothing to intimate, nothing to busy. Its pointless to go to a movie and try talking thur it.When your trying to get to know someone. If that goes good, maybe a****ail after.
