About Me

To tell u about me in a few words is hard but I'll try to sum it up in a few. I'm a Christian lady that is very active in my church. I love God and have very strong faith. I was with my ex husband for 23 years....married 20 of those. I am a huge sports nut. I am not about hookups, hanging out, late night booty calls or anything remotely associated. I'm seeking a true Christian partner in life. I love dining out (Italian and Mexican), going to movies, the theater, karaoke, dancing, traveling, the beach, tailgating at LSU, camping, fishing, boat riding, or just sitting home doing things as a family. I have a 12 yr old that keeps me in line. If you are not interested in a friendship and possible relationship that will revolve around him, then don't bother stopping here. I forgot to mention I have a belly button piercing as well as nose piercing, but no tattoos. Not ever gonna happen. I love my body too much to ink it up. As far as music, I like it all except for metal, alternative and some of the rap from this era. My favorites are Classic Rock and Country. I love the reality tv talent competitions cause I love music. My other favorite tv shows are Law and Order SVU, Bones as well as watching old movies. Well I guess that's enough for now, need to leave a little mystery. Oh and guys, I am looking for a friendship that might possibly lead to more down the road. Not looking to get married just yet, but would like that before I'm over the hill.... If you are in search of these then keep moving and don't stop here. I am tired of sitting home with only myself and a remote control for company. My 12 year old keeps me busy, but on the odd occasion I do need a break and adult conversation that doesn't mention what Justin Beiber and Selena Gomez are doing....lol. I want a friend first for companionship and maybe a lasting relationship if it's meant to be. Que Sera Sera. (Yes I like Doris Day too.... Loved her and Rock in Pillow Talk). Here's to finding my last best friend. My ideal first date would be to go to dinner and have a nice dinner and conversation then if there was a connection maybe go for a walk in a local park to talk and get to know each other more.

    I am back in school and working on getting a nursing degree. My children are grown and I have grandchildren I adore. I enjoy hiking, reading, geocaching, and traveling to any beach any where.
