About Me

So I recently thought I had found my shining knight, but here I am. If at first you don't succeed; try, try again.I am not really a hobby type person, but I don't begrudge people who have them. I am open to trying different things to find something fun to do. I am open to almost all types of music; some of my favorite genres are classical, top 40, 80's, jazz, classic rock. I like stand up comedy and most movies. I usually prefer movies and books that make you think but like the comedy - need to laugh again. No more children for me but as I have a couple (one left at home), if you have them it is not a problem. Would love to travel more: have a few holiday destinations in mind - I like to dress up or down - enjoy 5* dining as well as a great steak or burger at a BBQ. I love Spa's - that is my personal indulgence.I will always be voluptuous and love wearing my heels. I would love to find someone to go dancing with.I am an animal person. Must admit that I am not what I would consider romantic -.. I have always said I would marry my best friend - the 'however' is my best friend is a woman. I don't believe she is interested... She isn't really my type anyway. I have tattoos (and getting more) and like if you have them, not into piercings personally tho - standard earring for me.Is my perspective the same as everyone else? This really depends on the day things are written - I am a woman; this could be a 'I feel really blah and unmotivated' day, it could be a 'I feel really sexy today - let's rock and roll!'One of the "tests" I took did a really good job of putting it in a nutshell:Asserters are direct, self-reliant, self-confident, and protective. How to Get Along with Me:• Stand up for yourself... and me.• Be confident, strong, and direct.• Don't gossip about me or betray my trust.• Be vulnerable and share your feelings. See and acknowledge my tender, vulnerable side.• Give me space to be alone.• Acknowledge the contributions I make, but don't flatter me.• I often speak in an assertive way. Don't automatically assume it's a personal attack. What I Like About Being Me:• being independent and self-reliant• being able to take charge and meet challenges head on• being courageous, straightforward, and honest• getting all the enjoyment I can out of life• supporting, empowering, and protecting those close to me• upholding just causesWhat's Hard About Being Me:• overwhelming people with my bluntness; scaring them away when I don't intend to (this is a BIG one)• being restless and impatient with others' incompetence • sticking my neck out for people and receiving no appreciation for it• never forgetting injuries or injustices• putting too much pressure on myself• getting high blood pressure when people don't obey the rules or when things don't go rightHere are some things about you.Don't tell me you are 6'2" when you are really only 5'10"..... please whip out a tape measure and check if you are not too sure! These things are noticeable.... and if you are not able to be truthful about the obvious it will just make me wonder what else is not being told. You will be able to be to the point...but not mean. Just tell it like it is. Honest communication is very important.... Please have some indication of who/what you are looking for in your write up. Time is precious and there is no point in wasting it. Gainfully employed is a must (sad I have to say that) as well as you must be a non-smoker. Goal orientated; Intelligence and humour are important - the mind must be stimulated sometimes more than the body..... however the physical part is very very important.... An abundance of facial hair is a turn off for me; a little is not a problem. Pic for a pic, Gentlemen - it is only fair. Not sure what is meant.... first date or first meet? Meet = coffee (that way either of us can bow out gracefully) to make sure the person in the profile resembles the person I meet :-)Date = dinner in an out of the way place with a medium noise level; that way we can actually talk :)

I like hiking, camping, dancing, traveling, riding, movies, concerts, festivals, swimming, kayaking, boating, anything outdoors...I do not care about one night stands and do not want to see your privates! I like successful, goodlooking, taller than me, easy going, fun loving men, usually a little on the rugged side, with wit and charm. I don't care to sit around and watch the grass grow. I'm a little old fashion, hate a foul mouth, love to be romanced. I am Taurus, almost to the T. Down to earth, loyal, honest, hard working, stubborn and have been told I have a beautiful smile.I like all kinds of music, love Chastain, dancing makes me happy!! Nice lunch or dinner, possibly outdoor adventure with quality conversation and some laughter.

I like to look at what is good in life. I want to experience life and not to watch it go by. Laugh and be happy. How about you? Looking for someone to share some good times. Want a friend then grow to someone I cherish in my life. Love music, Christian rock, country and more. Quiet dinners with talk of the day and loud times with family and friends. Open, honest talk.
