About Me

I am a proud mother of two, I enjoy my job and my life is pretty great. I just seem to be missing that someone special with whom I can share my thoughts and feelings. I am a very positive person, sarcasm is the language I speak most of the time, I love to have fun and being able to make me laugh is a must. I enjoy going out or staying in and I love to meet new people and try new things. I have a ton of friends, I am very outgoing, very open with my life and feelings, affectionate and I love to laugh (did I mention that?). I have a stressful job so having fun is a necessity in my life. I like to be outside whenever possible and Fall is my favorite time of the year. I spend each Saturday between September and November cheering on my DAWGS. I have been known to pout after a DAWGS loss so I need someone to remind me that it's only a game (really.....what did I just say?). I usually go into a bit of post season depression after the bowl games but then rally when I realize that the G-Day game is only a few months away! Through my on-line dating journey on this site since September, I have learned many lessons. When I first started, I was not sure what I wanted in a guy but I am pretty sure that I at least have an idea now. More than anything else, I want a guy who is emotionally available and who is not afraid to talk to me about anything. I love to chit chat and tease but I really want someone with whom I can share a deep conversation as well. I want the right guy to be affectionate but also know how to really listen. Romance is great but a sense of humor is much better in my book :***last thing.......If you are looking at my profile because I looked at yours first, I might have really liked what I saw. I think I am still a little old fashioned in some ways and I always hear my mother in my ear saying that nice girls do not contact guys first. lol If anything in my profile interests you, please contact me........you never know........ Who I am with on a first date is much more important to me than what we do or where we go.     My hobbies are NUMEROUS! I love being outside, walking along the creeks and trails, the arboretum, gardening, farmers markets, porch sitting, cooking outside(grill or campfire), exploring little towns, camping, road trips, or staying home and digging into a good book. I think it is very important that people should make their own happiness a priority above all else. It just makes sense that if someone isn't happy, what they offer to the world and those around them is significantly diminished.
