Looking for: man. In age: 45-55
+ years, but I'm still a New Yorker at heart. Need a connection of the minds (won't connect well with overtly religious or socially conservative) and good conversation. Not a geek, but like to learn and enjoy curious people. I'm a bit square - no drugs, very occasional drinking - and prefer a healthy lifestyle. Have had a successful public relations career, first in sports and then in healthcare, and now desiring to focus more on personal life and leisure. Would love to share travel, cycling, meals and movies with a caring partner. Can be very outgoing and social, but more introspective and enjoy solitude and quiet time. I'm adaptable to most situations and people, love kids and animals. My family is scattered across the US and I have nieces and nephews, but no kids of my own. Looking for serious relationship only. Coffee is a great way to get to know someone, so let's meet up and visit over a cup.

I\'m honest, trusting, and loyal. If I like something I will tell you. If I don’t like something I will tell you. Not looking for someone to take care of me and or someone else. We all should make it on our own steam.

My hobbies are NUMEROUS! I love being outside, walking along the creeks and trails, the arboretum, gardening, farmers markets, porch sitting, cooking outside(grill or campfire), exploring little towns, camping, road trips, or staying home and digging into a good book. I think it is very important that people should make their own happiness a priority above all else. It just makes sense that if someone isn't happy, what they offer to the world and those around them is significantly diminished. The best thing you can do for me and the rest of the world, is to be happy and do things that make you feel happy!..i listen to "The Blend" or quite background music when at home. Occasionally some great road trip tunes! Country music is good, but rap and metal...nooo thanks!Ive been fortunate to be able to travel a bit the last few years and LOVE it! Now back home and have adopted a couple rescue dogs who are good company. Sorry, but if you haven't been to the dentist in the last year, and are not willing to go, we won't hit it off. Not expecting "perfect teeth" but "clean" and 'flossed' pretty much covers it. Don't mean to be a ****, but it will come up sooner than later, so ya might as well know now.OK...skip me if your profile pic is A) with sunglasses and a ball cap. B) all photos of your motorcycle or car. C) no pic included. D) has your ex cropped out. Cmon guys...I am also not interested in inter-racial dating. Relationships are challenging enough as it is, and i am not willing to add any other challenging factors. First dates are exciting, but they can be stressful too! I like to keep it simple, easy and inexpensive. Lets meet for coffee and/or a walk at a park. See if we connect and go from there. The 'directions' say the longer my description, the more likely it is that i will get responses. Well, dang! For a first date i really think it should be simple and easy, and that doesn't really need a long description, does it? We *** times, we decide to meet after work someplace for coffee or an adult beverage. If things are comfortable, maybe we decide to get something to eat. If its not then we finish our beverages and go our separate ways. No worries!
