I like the simple things in life. I'm a very optimistic person. My friends would describe me as loyal, sweet, funny, smart and classy. I like hiking, bicycling, dancing, and going to the beach. As far as music, I like pop, jazz and some country music. I like to keep the first date simple. Maybe coffee, ice cream, or a drink. If the conversation goes well, maybe a second date.

I am back in school and working on getting a nursing degree. My children are grown and I have grandchildren I adore. I enjoy hiking, reading, geocaching, and traveling to any beach any where. I pull out the sewing machine once or twice a year for projects. I am a terrible dancer but still I like to dance once in a while, I'm not too fond of crowds. I love going to the movies and having dinner out, but I also enjoy staying home and cooking out. I like most music, but not rap! I have two beautiful lab/chow mix dogs. They are each over 60 lbs and think they are lap dogs. I am looking for someone to go out with and have fun! Maybe go out for drinks, dinner, a movie, perhaps some geocaching or hiking or something you enjoy. Maybe meeting for coffee or a drink and seeing how it goes.

Woman. 46 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.
Looking for: man. In age: 43-53
I am a proud mother of two, I enjoy my job and my life is pretty great. I just seem to be missing that someone special with whom I can share my thoughts and feelings. I am a very positive person, sarcasm is the language I speak most of the time, I love to have fun and being able to make me laugh is a must. I enjoy going out or staying in and I love to meet new people and try new things. I have a ton of friends, I am very outgoing, very open with my life and feelings, affectionate and I love to laugh (did I mention that?). I have a stressful job so having fun is a necessity in my life. I like to be outside whenever possible and Fall is my favorite time of the year. I spend each Saturday between September and November cheering on my DAWGS. I have been known to pout after a DAWGS loss so I need someone to remind me that it's only a game (really.....what did I just say?). I usually go into a bit of post season depression after the bowl games but then rally when I realize that the G-Day game is only a few months away! Through my on-line dating journey on this site since September, I have learned many lessons. When I first started, I was not sure what I wanted in a guy but I am pretty sure that I at least have an idea now. More than anything else, I want a guy who is emotionally available and who is not afraid to talk to me about anything. I love to chit chat and tease but I really want someone with whom I can share a deep conversation as well. I want the right guy to be affectionate but also know how to really listen. Romance is great but a sense of humor is much better in my book :***last thing.......If you are looking at my profile because I looked at yours first, I might have really liked what I saw. I think I am still a little old fashioned in some ways and I always hear my mother in my ear saying that nice girls do not contact guys first. lol If anything in my profile interests you, please contact me........you never know........ Who I am with on a first date is much more important to me than what we do or where we go. I am not a real formal person and some of the best dates that I have ever had cost the least amount of money. I like to go to new places and try new things so I am open to almost any dating experience.
