About me... Hmm I am out of a very bad abusive relationship, no I don't hate men just that man. God works w me daily to forgive n believe happiness does exist. I work a lot of crazy hours due to my job. It's hard to keep a relationship but harder to keep a home without it.I met an amazing man on here and appreciate him for taking the time to get to know me despite my past n work schedule. However after a few great months it fell apart. I wish him all the luck finding the great girl he deserves.I truly believe everything happens for a reason. Blessin or lesson.I read the other day that u don't realize how boring u are until someone asks u what u do for fun lol how true is that?!?!I sat and pondered that for a moment n realized I need to find myself again so..This is what I've learned...Thanks to a friend I have finally tasted cheesecake, well a slight sliver gag but still refuse to touch coffee lol. and I joined a gym. I cant truly love anyone til I love myself n a better me is what I want for both me n the man I eventually meet.;I just haven't met u yet" ...And last but not least if yer not looking for a real relationships please don't contact me.     Okay, so I have been on this dating site for awhile now, and honestly have not put much effort into dating. So although I have kep a post I have not really been dating.... I have been single for a number of years now, but initially had very young children and did not date at all for quite some time. I am a single mom who works fulltime and has an extremely active lifestyle. So, what it comes down to is that about 2 years ago I realized that my kids were getting a little older and did not need me as much anymore, but then I did not know how to 'date' and incorporate someone into my 'already formed, overly scheduled, and more importantly comfortable routine'... and what did not not help was that I live a happy life. When you are happy and comfortable sometimes you get lazy about taking 'effort' to add something new... but, I realize, that eventhough I am happy with my life, I do really truly want to share that life with someone, a friend and companion ... so.... yes, way way more than you probably ever wanted to know... but there it is... I am not on here to casually date, I have never been a casual dater, my life if full and happy, and although I see alot of 'friends' things and casual dating, that is not for me... does that mean that I am wanting to just 'jump into a relationship'.. nope... I still want to get to know someone, but I do want to meet people who are also serious about wanting to meet the right person and find someone to share life with and grow old together. I love mountains, snow and skiing, rock climbing, hiking, but i also love the smell of the ocean and sound of the waves, and would like to meet someone that is also wanting to get out of the house and explore the world, even if it is just down the block. I think a first date is great if you are happy to be there and when you leave you want to see them again. So therefore, what plans you have or where, really end up not being that important.
