I just finished my first year teaching. I taught 5th grade and it was the single most challenging and rewarding thing I have ever done in my entire life. I grew up in the city but would consider myself somewhat of a country girl. I definitely have country roots. I listen to pretty much all types of music, but country music is my first love. Also, a sense of humor is a must. I try not to take life too seriously and laugh off most of life's unpleasant surprises.
