About Me

I am bubbly, easy going, and laid back. I get along very well with people. I am a single mom and very independent. I am looking for someone to get to know and see where things go. If Im going to be honest I am not a sporty person at all. I am absolutely terrible at sports I cant throw or catch or anything like that but I do love to watch football. I often find myself getting distracted if Im out with friends somewhere and a game is on. I love animals unfortunately I live in an apartment that doesnt allow pets so the closest thing I have to a pet is fish. Im a little nervous around big dogs but as long as they let me warm up to them slowly I always end up loving them. As a single working Mom I dont have a ton of free time and its very important to me that anyone I may end up spending time with understands that my daughter comes first. Sometimes getting a babysitter just isnt possible and if Im not ready to introduce someone to her then I obviously am not always available to meet up. Protecting her is my main concern. I think its pretty safe to assume I spend alot of nights at home. Im not a bar goer, when I go out with friends I prefer to go to places where you can sit down and hang out, have a few drinks, and actually be able to have a conversation with the person across the table. Maybe a little bit of karaoke (if Im having a good night.) I am a responsible drinker I always know when I have hit my limit and when to stop. I dont do drugs and Im not intrested in being involved with anyone who does drugs. I dont like being around it and I do not allow it in my home or around my kid.     Ah, the hated profile. I'll try to keep it at the perfect level of short-and-sweet meets "at least she put in some effort".Okay, I'm a writer. I love to write, I'm passionate about it, and I just finished my diploma in professional writing. I'm at the time in my life where I still want to have fun; *responsible* fun. Meaning yes, I work, and yes, I have goals. But that doesn't mean I don't still want to go out and enjoy myself on the weekends. And I'm hoping to find someone with a similar lifestyle.I'm quite close with my family. Family is definitely important to me. I also enjoy (I won't say LOVE) working out. Like I said, I love walking my dog. But I also enjoy taking boot camp and kickboxing classes, and I would prefer someone who had at least a moderate appreciation for physical activity too, mostly because I don't want another lazy-person relationship!I think that about covers all my important stuff.As for what I'm looking for...     I've never filled one of these out so here I go....I love sports, pretty much of all kinds. I play softball and golf. Love to watch football, baseball, college basketball and golf. GO GREEN. I want the person I am with to have friends, to have an outside life and to be able to respect that I have one as well. I grew up with my older brother and my dad being my main influences since I lost my mom at such a young age, so that made me a girl that could hang with the guys and I've kinda adopted a "man's perspective" when it comes to dating. I love music. Music is a HUGE part of who I am. And I love all kinds! Religion is also a part of my life. I have been a counselor/ Dean of Christian summer camp for the last 7 years. I respect other views and everyone is entitled to their own beliefs. I don't force my beliefs on others but I do try to live my life at the best of my ability to honor my faith.
