About Me

About me... I always hate doing this kind of thing... haha. So right now I am a student up at UF (GO GATORS!!!), I am working on my master's in Math Education and will be graduating in spring.) I love to dance (i.e. ballet, hip hop, hula, bollywood, irish, line dancing, etc.) and the line dancing is a more recent thing I have been doing. I am the type of person that likes to keep busy so on any given day I like to have things to do whether it to be dancing, an event for my fraternity, volunteering, etc. But, I still do like to the occasional day where I just float in the pool reading a book. Speaking of books, I love to read, mostly science fiction and fantasy. Which segways into the fact that I'm a bit, no I'm a lot of a nerd. I am still a sucker for a good chick flick. As for music I am pretty open to anything though am less fond of rap, heavy metal, and electronic stuff. I also like the outdoors, my brother was a boy scout and I was a girl scout, so I like camping, hiking, bike riding, etc. Though I am a big nerd I still like sports, at least at college level. I look forward to football season every year and am the first one out cheering them on. Football is my fav sport to watch but I have been known to watch a basketball game or two as well.

    Well, let me begin by saying I AM interested in being in at a relationship, but I have NO intention of jumping straight into one. I also am not interested in having conversations that are purely sexual, either. Though I am far from perfect, I feel that I have a lot to offer, and am much more than a red head with a pin-up girl body. Rather, I am a 5'3" elementary special education teacher at a title I school , and I absolutely love what I do! Nothing makes me happier than helping others and at times being the only positive, consistent, and trustworthy person that a child has. I rather not write a novel on things a man must or mustn't have/do in order to message me. There are so many exceptions to the rules, why pass up an opportunity to meet someone amazing (meaning you, not me....although I am quite the catch :-P pun intended )? Also, you've earned some brownie points if you have your hair parted to the side or a scruffy beard. Imagine Captain America if he didn't shave for a week. ;-) I love to laugh and joke around. Some would say I'm a bit of a smartass, so a light-hearted good time with not a lot of pressure for more would be preferable. I'll leave the deets up to you. ;-)
