.....Hmmm...this is where things seem to get complicated. It seems to be when you are up front and forward in telling someone exactly what you want, need, and desire they tend to run. But here goes...I would like to meet someone who knows what they want in a relationship, is ready for a real relationship, but not expecting to fall in love in a day or get married in a month. You know the first moment you meet someone if there is chemistry and during the first date if you are excited for a second. I like simple to extravagant from watching movies at home to champagne at a black tie event. I like the heat of the desert sun and playing in the snow, dressing cute or getting dirty. And there is nothing like an ice cold beer at a baseball game! When I really want something I go for it. I’m passionate about everything from the simple things in life to the most difficult. I don't take a back seat approach to anything. I try to love and appreciate life as much as possible and I would like to share that with a partner. I would love to find someone that is affectionate behind closed doors and in public (cuddler a big plus), enjoys spending quality time together (but also giving each other due space), isn't afraid to be silly, and likes to be adventurous romantically and personally. What I truly am in search of is someone that will be my best friend ,like/love me and whom I can give all my love to, someone who appreciates me for me and of course I will appreciate you for you, and someone I can't wait to see. I feel that confidence is very sexy but arrogance is not. Someone that will stand up for themselves and their partner is amorous but not someone who lets others walk all over them. I do not want someone that always agrees with me. I want someone to challenge me and someone I can learn from. I believe that respect, honesty and open communication are the largest parts of a relationship and I truly appreciate them. I am an open book and I want to be able to share and tell my partner everything....no matter what it may be may be and I hope for the same in return. Most people do not like confrontation but, I feel that it's all in how you go about it that makes the difference. I understand that things come up and life can get in the way on occasion, as long as unreliability isn't a habit or way of life. A few more things; I am 5'10" barefoot, and I usually wear heels, so I am at least 6' tall in public. My stated age is correct. I have consistently been told I don't look my age. I know I don't feel my age (I feel like I'm about 30). And while I am a very responsible person and can be serious when necessary, I prefer not to act my age (or at least how most people believe someone my age should act). Life is to have fun, and I intend to do that every step of the way. :) Also, if you do illegal drugs (and, yes, "420" is an illegal drug) please don't waste my time or yours by contacting me; because of my profession I can't be around that, and because of my beliefs (I have lost innocent friends to those situations) I refuse to be around someone who uses them. Intelligence is a wonderful thing, and I am aware that many intelligent people don't have a great deal of formal education. However, if you don't know the difference between "it's" and its", "their" "they're" and "there", "too", "to" and "two", or "women" and "woman" (yes, it seems men often make that mistake), or are unaware/unable to use the shift key or punctuation on their keyboard, I'm not interested; the way a person presents themself in writing (or typing, as with this online dating thing) speaks much about their intelligence and their respect for the english language. And if you're not interested in anything serious--and I understand these things can take time, but eventually develop--please don't waste our time; I hope to find someone to share my life with in a meaningful manner and am not interested in spending precious time (I believe time is the most precious thing in life) with someone who is only looking for something casual (I don't believe in casual relationships or casual sex--I'd rather spend my time alone). And, if you have children, that's wonderful, but I may not be the woman for you; I understand that children should come first in their parent's life, but I don't have any, and am not willing--at this point--to be a low priority in my partner's life. I'm more than happy to make my partner a major priority in my life and desire the same in return.I am someone who will jump into a situation or relationship with both feet. I am not a serial dater and don't play games. If you are someone who plays around or is looking for something casual, please look elsewhere. I have run into too many players claiming to be nice guys, and don't want to go through that again. I wear my heart on my sleeve and am not shy about showing my feelings. I am open and ready for that truly wonderful guy to come into my life. I am looking for my one great love to spend the rest of my life with. The usual coffee meeting just seems too much like an interview or audition. Happy hour, a glass of wine, lunch, dinner, just seem like better opportunities to get to know someone.

I am a fairly simple gal who doesn't often shy away from adventure. I likely drive to fast and without a doubt, listen to my music to loud. I am fiercely loyal, a bit shy, understated and complex. I am way cooler than the prize in a Cracker Jack box, think that age is a silly thing to keep track of, love good coffee, suck at spelling and embrace each day with a smile. I have learned that everyday should teach me, enlighten me and leave me feeling like I mattered. I believe in caring for others and for self, I expect people to be genuine and kind-hearted....life is much more fulfilling when we remember to treat people fairly, harming no one and lifting those we can. I love to laugh, enjoy movies and will watch TV but loose interest rather quickly. I am happy spending the day exploring on my own but much prefer to share my time with someone who "gets" me. I am a passionate person and have a flair for great emotion....I "feel" my life and want you to do the same. I am fairly easy going and believe a first date should be one that allows the conversation to flow. Anything where you are able to spend time getting know one another....it can be lunch/dinner or drinks......and afternoon at a waterside restaurant. Not somewhere that is crazy loud or with a lot of interruptions....I want to be able to talk, laugh and flirt a bit even. =)
