I am a fairly simple gal who doesn't often shy away from adventure. I likely drive to fast and without a doubt, listen to my music to loud. I am fiercely loyal, a bit shy, understated and complex. I am way cooler than the prize in a Cracker Jack box, think that age is a silly thing to keep track of, love good coffee, suck at spelling and embrace each day with a smile. I believe confidence is sexy and appreciate a man who knows how to strike a balance. I am mildly cautious and aware, kindhearted, empathetic and compassionate but I know how to establish personal boundaries and allow others to solve their problem when they are able. For me to be of the greatest asset to others I know I need to take care of myself too.I strive for a fair and sensible balance in my life.-garde approach to the same old same old. I find knowledge in books, conversation and general observations of the world around me. I have a colorful perspective driven by a healthy curiosity and am inquisitive by nature but rarely overstep the boundaries of privacy. I once participated in a survey of personal traits....haha the results had this to say about me....I work like a captain and party like a pirate!!! I don"t know if that good or bad, but I will take it gladly!! Top notch conversationalist with strong connections to my family and friends....balanced I want you to be passionate about life, love to laugh and be willing to act goofy. Understand that music touches the soul and that a true connection begins in the brain. Be willing to laugh at yourself and know how to ask for help. You take pride in your appearance, have a little fashion sense and look amazing with a bit of scruff on your face. A great smile melts my heart but a rugged edge gets my attention. You must have an appreciation for a woman who loves being a girly girl but isn't high maintenance, a woman who is comfy in a dress and heels and jeans and t-shirt. =) I am terrible at this sort of thing, talking about myself that is. I can be quiet chatty however if the chemistry is right and will open up when lured by an interesting topic. I have had an amazing life, for which I am grateful but it seems each day things are changing my life is again on the move, finding direction and loving the journey. I have learned that everyday should teach me, enlighten me and leave me feeling like I mattered. I believe in caring for others and for self, I expect people to be genuine and kind-hearted....life is much more fulfilling when we remember to treat people fairly, harming no one and lifting those we can. I love to laugh, enjoy movies and will watch TV but loose interest rather quickly. I am happy spending the day exploring on my own but much prefer to share my time with someone who "gets" me. I am a passionate person and have a flair for great emotion....I "feel" my life and want you to do the same. The one line that sums up my approach comes from my all time favorite movie, Shawshank Redemption...."You can either get busy living, or you can get busy dying"...I choose living. I am fairly easy going and believe a first date should be one that allows the conversation to flow. Anything where you are able to spend time getting know one another....it can be lunch/dinner or drinks......and afternoon at a waterside restaurant. Not somewhere that is crazy loud or with a lot of interruptions....I want to be able to talk, laugh and flirt a bit even. =)
