Loving being a work in progress. I love to journal, draw, learn. Pretty passionate reader. I like Burroughs and Ginsberg, Murakami, Eggers and Foer and I think that Hunter S. I can be a movie snob, but get annoyed at pretentious tastes. I'm post married-too-young syndrome, so I am still learning a lot about myself and what I like to do. So far, rafting was a big success and guitar is a blast, even though I don't seem to be getting any better at it. I am a passionate cook. Experimenting a lot lately with Indian and Lebanese foods. I'm kinda getting into hiking. I was much fatter when I was married and still working on that, so fitness is becoming a priority, but I am not coordinated enough to make it an obsession. I'm learning to sew, and speak Russian, and I'd like to get to the top of a mountain in ***. I am also learning to tattoo under the guidance of someone much more naturally gifted than me...and luckily what happens there is between me and my poor thighs.I love road trips. Travel is the only real thing on my "bucket list". Autumn is my favorite season. I often think about expatriating. I like more music than I can begin to talk about, but I am easily confused by genre speak. (We were all 18 once). My kids are amazing. They are better than the Beatles on vinyl. I might want more one day, but in the meantime, I'm very happy with what I have. I'm here to explore and see how it goes. So far, it's at least made me smile. :)

I know that because even when I'm processing thoughts in my own head with no one else around...My sentences to myself start with the word, "Dude."I know I sound kinda blunt...but I'm actually really shy when it comes to approaching guys and making the first move and rarely initiate conversation on here because of it...so please DON'T BE!!!! I'm not the "date," type. I don't know why. Just don't really like that term. It's too mushy sounding lol. I like "going out," or something like that. I'm open to anything. I'll do anything from a comedy club, to a baseball game, to rollercoasters, to fishing. Just don't ask me to go play pool. Chances are I just got done doing that all day and want a break from it. Otherwise, I'm up for pretty much anything. I'm not picky and just want to have a good time and having a good time has nothing to do with where you are, but more to do with who you're with.My pet peeves are bad manners, big egos, CLINGYNESS and immaturity. It's great to have fun and be stupid with friends, but you have to know when the time and place is appropriate which is usually almost always lol...but you have to know when to be serious.
