I was married for almost 13 years. I've learned a lot about myself, about what I want, don't want, like and don't like, etc. And, most of all, hopefully I'm a little bit wiser this time around! ;) I'm living on my own for the very first time (believe it or not). I lived at home until I got married - not sure if that was the best decision or not but it's what I did nonetheless. So I'm enjoying being on my own for the first time - it's been great! :) I'm excited to see what great things lie ahead! I have a 9 year old son who is near and dear to my heart. My ex-husband and I share custody. My son always seems to find a way of saying or doing something that cracks me up. I love that... :)I like trying new things, but I may need a little "hand-holding" if it's a little out there... So, that's me in a nutshell! :) All in all, I'm hoping to meet someone who looks at life in the same light-hearted way that I do and someone who is also truly a good person. Not a "Saint"...just a good person overall! ;)

A good relationship is one built on trust, respect, communication, and attention. I have been on here 4 years now, and I have been ready to throw in the towel quite a few times... But at this point, I have placed may trust in the good Lord above that he will bring me my Mr. Right. I will eventually find someone who is worth my time and effort, as I am there's. I am a good catch for the right person and I respect myself enough not to just settle. I am a single parent to ***year old and have 100% custody. I am very open to your children if you have some; but unfortunately, I can no longer have anymore. If that bothers you, I understand. This should be every parents priority in my opinion, but you know what they say about opinions...lol I have held the same job for 19 plus years. I am not opposed to change, I actually like it if it is for the better. :) But I am huge on stability, family, and security. And I am looking for the same in my partner. I want to find the man I want to spend the rest of my life with rocking grandbabies and traveling....or just sitting on the front porch holding hands watching nature and talking about the good 'ole days! I would love to learn to fish and have been working on cooking healthier and exercising daily. I am happy in my day to day life, I would just like to find someone to share that happiness with. My child is getting more independent everyday and doesn't need me around ***like I am use too. :) I am interested in picking up a few new hobbies that we could enjoy doing together as well, especially as a family. Variety, spontaneity, and continuous learning is the key to happiness I think. I aspire to find my soulmate, someone who takes my breathe away and sweeps me off my feet! Yes, I love romance and I tend to be a very romantic person. I want to be able to look into your eyes, and know what you are thinking without you having to say a word and vice versa. As for the physical, looks aren't everything! But there has to be some kind of a spark or attraction between us, and sometimes that isn't found until we have met. So that being said, I really don't have a "type". To me it is the inside that matters the most. I am looking for my best friend....and lover. Someone that I think about and miss when he isn't around and someone that I also have that effect upon. What I am seeking in a man - Faithfulness, Honesty, Security, Best Friend, Loyalty, Family Oriented, Trustworthiness, Good father figure, Non-Violent, Good Temperament, Sense of Humor, Someone who will give me the attention I crave and spend quality time with me and my child. My friends would say I am a very nice, thoughtful and caring person. And very sociable person. I would really say that I am shy at first but I sure could talk your ear off. One of my favorite things to do is to drink coffee and talk at one of my favorite coffee shops. There is really never a quiet moment with me. I love to laugh and can get others to laugh too. Just looking for my best friend to spend my life with.I am going to school right now for health fitness and I am looking to work in the wellness area when I graduate. For my graduation present to myself would be to take a cruise on a ship. I also work part time with school and work I do find time to do things that I enjoy like a Twins game on the train, outdoor concerts, fishing, dive bars, dance clubs, playing pool. Many other things. And always looking to try new things and new adventures that I have not done yet. I also love to learn about history and where things and people started from.
