I'm a mis- Home barbequing with the Zac Brown Band playing on the radio and good conversation sounds like my idea of a great way to spend the evening. I'm easy-going and laid-back. I keep a good balance of physical activity, mental stimulation, and relaxation in my life. I enjoy running, biking, walking, etc.-marathons, participated in a triathlon, and ridden in several long-distance bike "tours". My job as a Systems Analyst has me spending my time there troubleshooting computer and network issues and planning system upgrades.

-football---my family and house are there. :) While plans could change--I was originally planning to be here for two years and I am starting my fifth--it seems disingenuous to claim that I want to get married next week when my future residency is unsure. So...I would love to date. Even exclusively. But don't be angry if I won't agree to live here forever on our second evening out.I am currently teaching reading at the college level and loving it. I am also working on an Ed.D degree, so I work hard to enjoy my free time! I enjoy sharing new adventures with others--my last escapade was firewalking. I love snorkeling, roller coasters and art galleries, live theatre and local bands, cooking for friends and visiting with family, sharing a new book, debating new ideas and anything that challenges me to expand my horizons. I feel most relaxed near the water and can enjoy an evening of silliness and dancing as easily as a great movie or stimulating debate. I am hoping to find a responsible AND fun-loving individual. You don't need to buy me a gourmet dinner, but you should be able to foot your part of the bill. You should be able/willing to start the weekend without plans and enjoy whatever eventuates. I enjoy debate and discussion--I speak my mind and expect others to do the same. I would love to meet someone who has a CLUE about major authors, artists, and intellectual ideas. (That sure sounds harsh, but I hope you know what I mean!) I feel most at peace near the ocean and would love to find someone who shares my affinity for the beach.If I am busy, it is not personal. I teach and study and tutor and have friends. I have a couple evenings a week that I would love to spend with the right person, but I don't need to talk to you four times a day to make sure that we still like each other.If you are up for exploring--with a friend who could become more--I hope you will drop me a line. ummmmmmmm...how about we decide this one together.
