I am a happy person who would like a partner that can make me laugh. I have an odd sense of humor and I want to find someone that gets it. I guess you might call it humor that catches you off guard, witty and sometimes a little raunchy. My favorite comedy shows are ";, "Bob's Burgers", and "Parks and Recreation ". I have 2 dogs that are very much a part of me. I try to spend my free time doing things that include them. We spend a lot of time walking, hiking on trails, or swimming. I enjoy going out to restaurants, whether it be for fine dining, the burger joint down the road, or wings and beer. I am always willing to try new places and different types of foods - but I don't eat any mammals. (I don't need to hear any of the silly mammal jokes, believe me, I have heard them all - but maybe you can surprise me)Basically, I just want to find simple love and happiness in life. I'm happy and easy going and looking for the same in someone. I've been told I'm about as easy going as they come. I like strong people and those who can find humor in life's challenges. I'm a very nice, caring and thoughtful person (well, I am! Lol). I like being playful and kidding around :) I love to laugh - I always say..."Laughing's good for the soul!" I like sharing my time with someone, but I also enjoy my personal time as well (I think we all do). I love animals, especially dogs. I like going to zoos, aquariums, the beach, and going sight-seeing. But, I love tropical places the most...give me a beach and a palm tree and I'm in heaven! :)I'm recently divorced (Aug. ***. I was married for almost 13 years. I've learned a lot about myself, about what I want, don't want, like and don't like, etc. And, most of all, hopefully I'm a little bit wiser this time around! ;) I'm living on my own for the very first time (believe it or not). I lived at home until I got married - not sure if that was the best decision or not but it's what I did nonetheless. So I'm enjoying being on my own for the first time - it's been great! :) I'm excited to see what great things lie ahead! I have a 9 year old son who is near and dear to my heart. My ex-husband and I share custody. My son always seems to find a way of saying or doing something that cracks me up. I love that... :)I like trying new things, but I may need a little "hand-holding" if it's a little out there... So, that's me in a nutshell! :) All in all, I'm hoping to meet someone who looks at life in the same light-hearted way that I do and someone who is also truly a good person. Not a "Saint"...just a good person overall! ;)
