I lived at home until I got married - not sure if that was the best decision or not but it's what I did nonetheless. So I'm enjoying being on my own for the first time - it's been great! :) I'm excited to see what great things lie ahead! I have a 9 year old son who is near and dear to my heart. My ex-husband and I share custody. My son always seems to find a way of saying or doing something that cracks me up. I love that... :)I like trying new things, but I may need a little "hand-holding" if it's a little out there... So, that's me in a nutshell! :) All in all, I'm hoping to meet someone who looks at life in the same light-hearted way that I do and someone who is also truly a good person. I am 40 years old and have never been married. I am looking for someone who is serious about being in a relationship. Someone who won't give up when life gets hard. I believe that honesty is the most important thing in a relationship along with communication. My ideal match would be someone who is involved in and attends church. I believe that God has to be the foundation in which a lasting relationship is based on. Looking for someone that I can be friends with, laugh with and grow with. I love to sing and music is a big part of my life. I am on one of the Worship teams at my church. Looking forward to getting back into that as I have been pretty busy this summer. I have done some Musical Productions at the local Community Theatre. I love it! Occasionally I like to go to Karaoke, but am not big at hanging out at the bars. When I can I like to spend time with my niece and nephews, but they live out of town (CDA area). I am a summer girl so I like to be outside doing something active during the summer. I enjoy going for walks and have recently started to jog/ run. That is and well continue to be a work in process lol. During the Winter I tend to stay inside more. I enjoy cuddling up on the couch watching a movie or some football. I generally dress for comfort. Jeans and tee shirt kind of girl. But getting dressed up once in a while is fun too. Kids are ok. I do not have any but I have a niece and nephews that I love being with when I can. I do not want to take the place of anyone's mother. But would love to be involved with the kids of someone I am dating when the time is right. Looking for someone who isn't to far away. So two to two and a half hours away. Distance can be hard.
