I am kind of new to meetville and have been checking out others profiles and i know mine pales in comparison but here goes nothing......Big hearted romantic here looking to make some new friends and see how things go. I am fun loving, funny, respectful, easy going, and open minded. I enjoy red wine and a cold beer. Love to get out and discover new places. I am not an athletic person but I do enjoy professional sports. Baseball is probably my favorite. Love wine tasting, dinners out, a good pub crawl, and cuddling in front of a nice fire. I am a professional woman who can hold a decent conversation and like to meet new people.Looking for any true gentleman left out there. I know they aren't all extinct. Looking for someone to open my door and pull out my chair for me. I am 42 with 2 fully functional arms. I can obviously open my own door and can sit in a chair without falling on my a** most of the time. But I appreciate a man who wants to make those efforts towards me. Flowers work too. I'm old fashioned and like old fashioned shows of chivalry. They are not wasted on me. Please make me laugh. I love to laugh till my sides hurt. My friends think I'm pretty funny as well and would love a partner to laugh even at my bad jokes. I am sensitive and caring and mushy in all the right places but I am a strong woman who will defend her character and her children's mere existence with all my heart. I am an open book so please don't be shy with questions. My ideal first date would be meeting at a restaurant that doesn't serve their meals with happy meal toys. Maybe starting with a nice glass of wine or a beer and some chips and salsa(Mexican is one of my favorites). After visiting for a bit and working thru the nerves possibly ordering some dinner and then just get to know one another. Movies are nice but it doesn't really lend itself to getting to know the other person. After dinner if its nice out maybe talking a slow walk around while holding hands if the connection is there.

    I'm happy and easy going and looking for the same in someone. I've been told I'm about as easy going as they come. I like strong people and those who can find humor in life's challenges. I'm a very nice, caring and thoughtful person (well, I am! Lol). I like being playful and kidding around :) I love to laugh - I always say..."Laughing's good for the soul!" I lived at home until I got married - not sure if that was the best decision or not but it's what I did nonetheless. So I'm enjoying being on my own for the first time - it's been great! :) I'm excited to see what great things lie ahead! I have a 9 year old son who is near and dear to my heart. My ex-husband and I share custody. My son always seems to find a way of saying or doing something that cracks me up. I love that... :)I like trying new things, but I may need a little "hand-holding" if it's a little out there... So, that's me in a nutshell! :) All in all, I'm hoping to meet someone who looks at life in the same light-hearted way that I do and someone who is also truly a good person. Not a "Saint"...just a good person overall! ;)
