Hi, I'm one of those lucky people who made their hobby their profession. I am a professional artist and make my living selling my work. It's great to be my own boss and make all my own decisions, both for my business and my creative choices. I am not shy or introverted and really want/ need to meet someone with a great sense of humor. I've realized that I honestly need to be with someone who can make me laugh and vice versa. My friends describe me as beautifully quirky and honest, in touch with my feelings and very caring. According to people I've met out west, it's a big part of who I am, although I didn't see it until it was pointed out to me!I think the things that make me unique can't be written about in a very succinct way. It's more of an energy you feel when you're around me. My friends say I have amazing energy and light up a room. People have said they're addicted to being around me and spending time with me. Don't worry, I don't let it go to my head! LOL! I just like people and consider myself to be a social person. However, I would like to meet that special person that I can share secrets with, have inside jokes with and can feel perfectly at ease with, whether we're at a black tie event or just couch surfing in sweatpants. I also need to meet a man who had a happy childhood, likes his parents and siblings and loves cats and animals in general. I have one cat. A unique and maybe even a little quirky man is a positive attribute and I do not need to be with a man as chatty or as outgoing as myself. However, they should be somewhat social. I think a relaxing, but not boring, first date would be the best way to get to know someone. However, I really do appreciate a man who puts some thought into a first date. If it's a restaurant they make reservations. They think about what I like and try to incorporate those things into the evening's events. "Let's meet at this bar and this time" is fine, but shows a total lack of effort, interest and creativity. Just sayin'! I do like the idea of trying something new or going somewhere neither one of us has gone before, even if it's just a new restaurant.

I joined the Body By Vi 90 Day Challenge and have lost 80 lbs and counting. I like my curvy figure but I also want to be healthy. I am very active. I just completed Insanity, love to golf, and I work out ***days a week. I just turned 40 in December and so far 40 has been good to me.
