About Me

Well, I am surprised (maybe slightly alarmed?) that I am trying online dating...but...stranger things have happened, and I am always up for trying anything once! I have a busy, rewarding career that is both fulfilling and challenging. Now I am hoping to find my 'person'. I would love to one day have a garden, and maybe an old character home that we can fix up together, and a dog, a few rugrats running around...ok, maybe I am getting ahead of myself ;)I love being outside. I grew up in the Prairies so I like sun. And crisp winter days with crunchy snow underfoot. But the rain is romantic too.I have always been athletic. If I am not out for a run, you might find me at the gym, or shooting a basketball around. I love how my body feels when I am taking care of it. I love good food. I am trying to love cooking. And a really good red wine goes well with popcorn on those nights when I don't love cooking so much.I have two cats that I got back in university and they haven't tried to run away yet so I still have them. It's possible. ;) And that I am loving, and nurturing, and have a huge heart. Often I find it on my sleeve.My family is everything to me. I talk to my mom about everything. And my dad too. Hope that is okay with you. Ideally, you will like mom-hugs, and drinking beer with my dad on occasion. I am as comfortable in this environment as I am going out for fancy eats and doing the 5star once in a while.
