I'm a hard working, independent woman. I have 2 dogs (Labrador and an American Eskimo). I love music, except rap. Rock from the 80's and 90's are my favourite though. I own my home and my vehicle may not be pretty but it is paid for. I am very kind to everyone I meet, love children and animals and have a great sense of humour. I love to laugh and enjoy life. Now that my daughter is grown and in university, I want to travel and see the world. I'm not very active but would like to be. I'm looking for a mature man that wants to travel a little but still enjoys quiet weekends at home too. I want a man that takes pride in his appearance but doesn't take longer than me to get ready to go out. He has to be patient and kind, like kids and animals and be willing to teach me new things. He should be polite and thoughtful and a little out going. I want a man that is financially secure and responsible. He must have a very good sense of humour, like nature and have a positive outlook on life. Cooking skills would be a bonus. I'm not the best cook. My daughter will confirm that. Be yourself.     I am passionate about travelling and learning about new cultures and traditions. I have been fortunate to live and work abroad, working for 2 years as a Methodology Advisor for the Ministry of Education in Zanzibar, Tanzania where I was able to fully immerse myself in the language and special challenges of the region. I have also spent a year leading cultural and environmental tours across ten different sub-Saharan countries, team- All these experiences have taught me how to be creative and adaptable in diverse environments. I love seeing them regularly now that I'm settled back home, and found that the hardest thing about being away for extended periods of time. I am open to having kids of my own if I can find the right person to do that with, but am also really happy with my life as is too. I am pretty laid-back and open-minded, so like to take opportunities as they come. It would be great to find a partner who is the same.
