In my profile I state I am actively seeking a relationship/marriage and that is the 100% truth however in general speaking and in a few dates I've come across the fella's are not being 100%....here's the thing I ask please do not tell me that you want a relationship and truth is you want some "cookie" (tryin to keep it pg)..you go all out..dinner...drinks...sweet talk..play the game just right just to get some "cookie"...I honestly don't need all that extra fluff..I would appreciate and respect you more if you were straight up and said to me...I'm not looking for a relationship ..I just wanna hang out...have some fun.. Some basic things about me:When I'm not at work, I'm often found on my PC, or relaxing somewhere with a book in my face.Of course I do other things - I might take walk in the park, catch a movie *** the theatre, watch something on the TV, pop over to the local pub for food and such... you know - normal stuff...Still don't exactly know what I wanna be when I grow up; happy, some place where I matter, comfortable & content...I'm pretty easy going. I'm usually able to see all points of view in a debate/conversation.I like nature - when I go camping I prefer in a tent. I like sleeping in on weekends - I love lazy Saturday. I am not a morning person...I like most music - Alternative, Rock, & Metal are good. I like classical, folk, & ambient too. Not a big fan of most rap or country tho.Still here? Ok - a few things that might hit home:I don't care much for shopping. No, I don't have 50 pairs of shoes... please don't make me try everything on at the store...I'm not a sports fan by any stretch of the imagination. Sorry guys that are big into their teams. I might have heard which team won the big game on the radio as I drove to work but, I really don't know anything about your bracket, & I can't even pretend to be interested, well not for any long length of time anyway. I could be happy for you when you won or sympathetic if you didn't.. but I digress...I'm not against kids. I enjoy my friends kids (most of the time). It's great if you have a kid(s). It's awesome if you are a devoted dad. But I am not interested in having children anymore. I think I'm past that at this point in my life. I'd rather hang with close friends in the privacy of someone's home than at the bar where I'll smile & nod, pretending I heard whatever it was you just said for the 4th time (my friend reading this argued we could text, ha!) Besides, it's cheaper to buy it from the store, and I don't care so much about people watching (my friends are weird enough). Something where we can be comfortable to chat for a while: nothing too loud or crazylunch/dinner/coffeeWeather pending - a nice stroll through the park, or drinks on the patio
