I'm Marianne, and I am interested in meeting new people. Life is hectic for all of us so I thought I'd finally look into using another method to help find someone to spend time with. I work in surgery at a local hospital and I love my job. Feeling like I'm part of something larger than myself to help people in need is important to me and I love my team. Outside of work I'm into kayaking, camping, hiking, and cooking.I enjoy picking up and hitting the road to go to the river but I enjoy laying around the house just relaxing as well. My dog is super cool and we enjoy each other's company. I love to read and have been known to be pretty nerdy. ;) Music is very important to me...it is the soundtrack to our lives! My tastes are all over the board. I like to be mellow at times but I can rock out with the best of them...just like me! I'm comfortable in my own skin and what you see is what you get with me. You won't usually have to wonder how I feel about things or what I think. I'm going to tell you. Honesty is always the best policy, even if its hard. I don't play games. I'm a happy, "glass-half-full" kind of girl looking for the same in a guy...is it you? Dinner and/or drinks is always a good way to get things started, but I'm also into going to a park, or a walk, or something unconventional.

Woman. 37 years old. Zodiac sign: Virgo.
Looking for: man. In age: 34-44
Hello! Well, where to begin...I am 36 years old and 3 years divorced from a 10 year marriage. I have three wonderful children, the oldest of whom is 15. Their father and his new wife are very much a part of my kids' life, so first I should say that I'm not looking for a father for my children, and I think that's very important for any man to know up front. My children are my life, and are my main priority, and now that I'm sure they're very much adjusted from the divorce, I am ready to meet that special someone to share my life with. I am VERY much into music; mostly rock to hardcore metal, and I started a concert booking and promotion company 2 years ago that is slowly but surely growing, but until then I still maintain my "day" job as a server...there's nothing more gratifying than seeing how the crowd reacts to a show you organized and promoted, not to mention helping an awesome "local" band spread their music and get recognized. It's an amazing feeling.I am an animal lover. I have 3 rescue dogs, and if I had the room and the resources necessary I would probably have more, so, having said that, if YOU PARTAKE IN HUNTING OF ANY KIND, PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME. I am looking for someone with a good heart, a great mind, and whose self-esteem is high enough to understand that the circumstances in my life won't allow me to spend every waking hour of the day with them, and that's alright...that a relationship isn't about how often you're together, but about how awesome the time is when you are. Also, very important...I am not what you would call picky as far as most character traits except for...wait for it...GRAMMAR! Gentlemen, please, if you don't know the difference between your and you're, or their, there, and they're, it most likely won't work out. I'm not looking for Einstein, but you at least have to have knowledge of 4th grade Grammar. Also, I must state--simply so we won't waste each others time--that I am not by any means a thin person; I'm not ***pounds, either, but I'm packing some extra weight for sure. I am working on this, but until then, take me as I am or stay away. Just putting that out there.*UPDATE* I have searched numerous profiles, and I just have to say this...if your profile picture is a selfie of you shirtless in a bathroom mirror, stay away. You look like (and probably are) a tool.*UPDATE #2* If you are going to inbox me (or anyone on this site, actually) please don't begin with small talk...there is NOTHING more frustrating than opening mail from someone to have it read "Hi" and nothing more; take the time to tell me a little about yourself. I promise you, 9 times out of 10 I will not respond to one-word *** anyone on here.

I cant believe after all this time I find myself single again and back on meetville. But ok...I'm back and that's the reality of it so I move on. Looking forward to meeting new people and making new friends. Ok world so you wanna know something about me? I love to laugh. I think having a great sense of humor is so important and it's also important for the man that i am with to be able to understand my quick witted answers and not take offense to my sarcasm. 9 out of 10 times it's all in good fun but that 1 time....look out LOL. I love to make people feel good about themselves and to just feel happy in general. I am a very happy person. I live one day to the next and don't bring anything negative from today into tomorrow. Everyday is a new day and you can't change what happened yesterday so why bother dwelling on it? The man that I am looking for should also feel that way. If you're one to hold grudges then even though you may be the nicest guy, please keep on moving along to the next profile because I have no tolerance for people who want to just hold onto bad feelings and not either deal with them or let them go. That's just who i am. I love to have fun. I love going dancing mostly to reggae or spanish music. Those are my favorites but I also like dance music at the clubs. I'm not much into hip hop cause i still can't figure out how to shake my money maker to it but if you can teach me then maybe i'll start to like it!! LOL I love chillin to jazz and r&b. I recently discovered that I now like country music too so that opens up a whole new world of possibilities for me. Im looking forward to hittin up some country bars in the area and see how well i do line dancing. My favorite thing to do is shooting pool. If i could get a pool table in my house then i would probably never leave. I'm not that good at it but boy I have lots of fun playing. Ok so there's just a little about me that you might wanna know. If you think you might be interested then holla atcha girl. I think the best first dates are lunch dates to be honest with you. My theory is this: I've been on several dates now and dinner dates seem to last too long sometimes when you're not having fun and you just wanna go. Sorry i've had some pretty bad dates lately. Anyway... if we meet for lunch and there's really no connection then we have to end it early anyway because we both have to go back to work. But if we meet for lunch and there's great chemistry, then even though we have to go back to work, we'll have another date to look forward to in the near future. I seriously think it's a win win. If you haven't tried it then you most certainly should.
