I want a long marriage and I want everything that comes with it! The undying love, the challenges, the laughter, the hardships, the memories, the arguments, the making up, someone to yell at to stop snoring, someone to kiss me each night before I go to sleep, someone to respect me and the fact that I am an independent woman, someone to be proud of, I want it all.I really am a great catch...I have solid family values~ I believe in the old "do unto others" saying as well as Karma~I can go to a Jets game and tailgate at 10AM or get dressed up to go to an event for a museum opening all while fitting in perfectly~I can hold my own in most any social setting~I am passionate about my friends and family~I have been told I have a contagious laugh and believe that laughter is the best medicine.On the other hand, I am by NO MEANS perfect! I can be grouchy in the morning~I don't like shopping, at all, that could be a pro or a con though~I speak my mind and sometimes could use a bit of a filter~I put my make-up on when I drive (I know you guys hate that)~I drive too fast and sometimes cut into the line up by the front when exiting a highway~I ask questions during movies ~ All in all though, what you see is what you get... I am a down to earth, fun loving, playfully sarcastic woman, looking for a great guy to share myself with.What I want in return...all of the same morals, values, wants, needs and desires. A love for family and friends, someone confident, someone that believes without trust there is no foundation to a relationship, I'm huge on trust and all I ask is for the truth, no matter what emotion it may conjure up. I want someone to walk into a burning building for me...OK that's a bit extreme!What I don't want....Someone that just "wants to have a good time", I don't want someone that is arrogant, I don't want someone that thinks the world revolves around money; its nice and all, and trust me, I strive to make as much as I can, but its not everything! I don't want someone that is into the club scene. Some basic things about me:When I'm not at work, I'm often found on my PC, or relaxing somewhere with a book in my face.Of course I do other things - I might take walk in the park, catch a movie *** the theatre, watch something on the TV, pop over to the local pub for food and such... you know - normal stuff...Still don't exactly know what I wanna be when I grow up; happy, some place where I matter, comfortable & content...I'm pretty easy going. I'm usually able to see all points of view in a debate/conversation.I like nature - when I go camping I prefer in a tent. I like sleeping in on weekends - I love lazy Saturday. I am not a morning person...I like most music - Alternative, Rock, & Metal are good. I like classical, folk, & ambient too. Not a big fan of most rap or country tho.Still here? Ok - a few things that might hit home:I don't care much for shopping. No, I don't have 50 pairs of shoes... please don't make me try everything on at the store...I'm not a sports fan by any stretch of the imagination. Sorry guys that are big into their teams. I might have heard which team won the big game on the radio as I drove to work but, I really don't know anything about your bracket, & I can't even pretend to be interested, well not for any long length of time anyway. I could be happy for you when you won or sympathetic if you didn't.. but I digress...I'm not against kids. I enjoy my friends kids (most of the time). It's great if you have a kid(s). It's awesome if you are a devoted dad. But I am not interested in having children anymore. I think I'm past that at this point in my life. I'd rather hang with close friends in the privacy of someone's home than at the bar where I'll smile & nod, pretending I heard whatever it was you just said for the 4th time (my friend reading this argued we could text, ha!) Besides, it's cheaper to buy it from the store, and I don't care so much about people watching (my friends are weird enough). Something where we can be comfortable to chat for a while: nothing too loud or crazylunch/dinner/coffeeWeather pending - a nice stroll through the park, or drinks on the patio
