Hey! Thanks for checking out my profile! I hope you are having an fantastic day! I do have kids and I'm sincere in my profile that I don't want more. I definitely don't mind if you have kids. In fact it might be nice lolI am loyal, giving, employed, have my own house and vehicle. I don't smoke or do drugs and I would like the same from someone I date.I think it's important when you are looking for the special someone to find someone who is already happy with their lives. The man I'm looking for has to be strong enough to hold me up on occasion and flexible enough to let loose and be spontaneous. Typically I'm not exactly the most spontaneous person so I would love to find someone who brings that out in me even more. I think a good relationship is where I compliment things in your life and you compliment mine. I love to read and write, I enjoy camping and going on road trips. I like to do typical girl things lol Oh as I do REALLY enjoy actual road trips, please at least be able to get a passport if you don't have one already as I love going places in the states. I was burned when I was very young but my scars don't bother me very much. I haven't met very many guys who this was an issue for. So I'm not limited in location. One last thought, I do know how to use punctuation and grammar. My keyboard at home sucks though so I don't always use capitals and often I spell things incorrectly because my backspace is gone and I just say "to heck with it". Thanks for understanding and not judging me :)I hope to hear from you! If you click meet me I'm likely to message you but would be nice if you messaged me lol Let's decide together. I like to grab a coffee and see if there is a click, the REAL date can be made if we both agree to it.

I am one of the last of my friends to be single and although I have no problem going out on my own, some people seem to find that daunting and it doesn’t guarantee finding people to hang out with or even to have a decent conversation with. I am also a teacher, so I don’t tend to meet many people professionally and am often bogged down with grading, planning and coaching.I am passionate and whimsical, rational and romantic, intelligent and introspective, silly and sardonic. I love being outdoors (when it isn’t freezing out), rocking out to my favorite music, and writing. I am a bibliophile and have a love affair with words, so if your vocabulary is limited to “yo, your hot” and/or you think proof reading is for nerds, please stop reading now and move along to the next kissy-face picture you come to.I have met a few people online before and have realized that it is ridiculous to hang hope on someone you have a few exchanges with in terms of dating, but people do and there’s an underlying pressure to “like or not to like”, yet everyone I’ve ever dated has been a friend first. Therefore, while I am hoping to encounter someone special, it is more important to meet someone cool to spend time with and take it from there. Ultimately, I want to know and be known. To recognize something in another person that inspires me to be better, while accepting me as I am. I am not sure what it is I’m seeking, but I recognize when it’s missing. Give me a man who speaks fluent sarcasm, who can weave dreams into realities, who can follow my obscure literary and film references, who will call me on my bullsh*t and who will let me know him as I let him know me and I will be fulfilled. Can you tell over coffee or a beer whether there’s enough character in the character beside you to make you want to delve a bit deeper? If so, drop me a line.Ps ... I'm on a bit of a health kick, working on changing foods and such which is leading me to want to be more healthy all around - so if you are only silent due to the smoking thing, don't miss out... I may be done soon! I appreciate a phone call first and let's see if we click... but it isn't a good idea to wait so long the spark sputters out, so rather than draw out texting/chatting, wouldn't it be fun to do something early on so it is less like an interview and more like a new experience?

I have been asked why aren't you married? Because I am trying to find someone worth it. Lets face it you have to have goals. Please DON'T contact me if: you don't have a job, you don't have a car, you are only separated from your wife, or if you don't have a picture to share. Keep moving on to someone else's profile. I am a very good listener and love to try new things. I am a teacher and love to have my kids succeed. Someday I would love to travel and write a travel guide for those that can not afford the most expensive trip but still want to see the world. I am the youngest of four and we grew up on a family farm. We raised pigs and cows and grain. My siblings are much older than me and all are married. I have nine nieces and nephews and I love spending time with them. Family is very important to me! I like almost all music but the songs that you can not understand the words to. I also like classic movies, scary movies, and chick flicks. I would say I have had the usual first date experience. Love to have a memorable one.
