About Me

So…I’ve been on this site before in the past and had little luck. I did manage to meet a couple good guys just didn’t find the connection I’m looking for. I’m not looking to waste my time or yours so if I don’t see a future with someone I’ll be upfront about it. I’m recently single but not so recent that I’m rebounding but I don’t get out much to meet people so I figured I’d give the whole online dating thing another shot. I’m a single mother to 2 girls ages 6 & 2 and they are my world. I don’t have the luxury that some single mothers do in sending the kids off to their dads on weekends so I don’t have a whole lot of adult time. When I do have some time to myself I’d like to have someone to enjoy it with. My intentions are to find a man with the potential of being a husband to me and a father to my girls someday ( not anytime soon but down the road). Call me old fashioned but I’m looking for a man that knows how to treat a woman. I don’ I feel it’s up to the guy to initiate things (conversation, date, relationship, sex, marriage) so in the online world of dating that means it’s up to you to message me first. I want a man that is mature and responsible. A hard working, grounded man. A man of God that has beliefs and stands firm in them. A man I can depend on and trust. I’ve learned to be a very independent woman due to past experiences and I want to find someone that pulls me out of my independent comfort zone and shows me that I can trust and depend on someone other than myself. I was once told if I found a man that loved and respected God and his mother than that man was a good man, a man I could trust and believe in.     I'm not quite sure what to say on here, but that seems to be a common thread. Feel free to ask questions, I'm pretty open about my life.I like a mix in my social life. There are points where I just want to relax at home with the kitten and a good movie... or I want to gather with friends and laugh, it doesn't matter what we're doing. My friends and family are incredibly important to me and I place a high priority on my time with them. I tend to make friends easily and the majority of my friends are considered family as much as those that are blood related.I want to become more active again. I used to love hiking and dance but a knee problem kept me from enjoying those things. My physical therapist recently released me to work out on it again so I'm definitely trying to get back into the swing of things. Someone that likes to partake in the same and is willing to deal with me easing back into things would be appreciated.Some quirks and tidbits:--I'm the typical girl who loves shoes, yet I love being barefoot-I do not like guns, at all (Please don't contact me if they're a big part of your life. I respect your opinions I just don't choose to place myself around guns.)-I am not the crazy cat lady, but Sadie holds my heart-I was attacked by dogs when I was little, doesn't mean I don't like them but I need to observe them before approaching-My degree is in Theatre Education-I'm allergic to cigarette smoke and nuts-I'm a country girl, I like a range of music but I'm a country girl-I love having a reason to dress up
