I'm a silly, optimistic person. I like meeting new people, going out on the town, parties with friends and snuggling my little Ragdoll cat.     I am a very independent person who is very close to her family and friends. I enjoy the cooking channel, television dramas and musical theater. I love going out on town and experiencing new things and I love a good reason to get dressed up. I'm not a foodie but I enjoy trying new things and I love being made to laugh. I would probably say my favorite hobby is reading fiction. I really enjoy skimming through pop culture magazines & I like art and visiting museums. My music selection is often varied. I am a Red Sox fan (yes, in upstate NY!) but I'm accepting of other sports teams. I attended musical theater school in NYC and lived there for seven years before moving back to upstate NY. Really for a first date I would just like to be shown a good time, with good food, maybe some live music and excellent conversation. A real night out on the town. No clubs, no movies or anything that would restrict conversation.

    My hobbies are ever-expanding...the most prevalent of which are volleyball, writing, gardening, traveling, and hosting get-togethers and parties.
