I'm a native Charlottean raised in the outskirts of the city.- a southern grown girl with Yankee roots, kind of like a diamond in the rough. :-) My profession is accounting but I have a strong artistic side so don’t judge. ;-) The week days are very busy with lots going on after my ***, but I'll make room and find time for the right guy. I was raised by a single mom and have one sister with whom I am really close. I enjoy being outside, spending time with friends/family, dancing, kickboxing, hiking, working out in general, reading, making things, and challenging/expanding my mind. I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle so I watch what I put into my body (I'm a Whole Foods grocery store kind of girl) & exercise regularly. This doesn't leave much time for TV in my life so no, I don't have cable; what's the point? However, I do have Netflix & might watch some shows here & there when winding down at night. This June I ran in my first Warrior Dash and fell in love with obstacle course racing. My 2nd race was the Mid-; in spite of all the pain & suffering, I have already pre-registered for next year's event. My goal is to earn my Trifecta next year, whoop whoop! Now that I have a better idea of what is in store, it's back to training, pushing my limits, & loving the burn. Yes, I am an OCR junkie and proud to admit it! :-) The only thing that could make the experience better would be to have someone out there with me, conquering the course together. I also enjoy hanging out with friends during my down time whether it’s for a meal, bowling, live music, a movie, the occasional karaoke fix, plain old shenanigans, going to a local sports game, or trying something new. Speaking of friends, I have a great group of people in my life who love and support me and whom I also love and support. I couldn't ask for anything better, but I’m now at a point where I would like to find a "partner in crime" who fits in well with my lifestyle and whose lifestyle I also compliment. I’m looking to meet someone who is okay with getting to know each other first to see if we're compatible. If something more serious develops, then let's give it a go. If not, then maybe we can be friends. I want to find someone who is willing to give 110% because that is what I will give. Characteristics that I find important include: education, loyalty, HUMOR, faithfulness, dependability, honesty, AFFECTION, respectfulness, etc. You get the picture. A guy who enjoys trying new things is best because living one’s life with a closed mind is a shame. I also feel that physical attraction, aka "chemistry," is very important on both ends. I don't think that's shallow; it’s a basic human ***'m not perfect by any means and am constantly working to improve myself a little bit every day and I want someone who also takes care of himself physically. I don't mean a lunk head or someone egotistical, but you should have some pride and workout regularly. Some may think I’m too picky, but I’m a woman who knows what she wants. While I appreciate receiving messages like most people, I will not respond to ill conceived ones that have no thought behind them, are unoriginal, and/or are one liners. I take looking for a partner seriously and you should too if you message me. Also, I'm 5'7" so you have to be at least 5'10" so that I can wear my 3 inch heals when we're together and not be taller than you.     Well to tell you a little about myself. I also apologies if this is to long to read I tried to keep it as short as i could.UPDATE AS OF SEPT ***I am interested in finding someone and all of that to be with and spend time with and get to know but i can not meet anyone right now till the middle of Oct my life is just to busy till then i don't want to make out that im pushing someone away or anything but till then i can talk and get to know you but not meet you if i want to meet you till the middle of Oct to the end of Oct I’m a single mother of 3 children my daughter and my 7 month ole son lives with me. So im pretty busy as is so if i keep saying no or don't answer your messages right a way that's the reason As it says on my profile I’m looking for long term but not right off the bat i want to date someone and get to know them for a while but in the long run i would like it to end in long term. I’m not into the casual dating were I date someone and then go out with someone else the next day. And I’m not interested in just someone who wants to have sex or just wants to talk about it. In the winter I usually stay indoors and do indoor activities mostly not saying I’m not willing to go for the person I’m with. I Watch movies, listen to music, surf the net, go with friends and family, sleep, clean and other things like going to museums and other things like that, that I find interesting, I’m always up for learning something new or being taught something new as well.Summer is when I shine love the summer weather I also love air conditioning lol ha-ha. My definition of that is someone who doesn’t like to get muddy and dirty and all that, just think of someone who would be voted off of the island of survivor first for having someone kill the bugs for me lol hahah. I AM NOT HIGH MAINTENANCE if it sounds like it well your sadly mistaken, simple things make me happy (getting my nails done usually does it or something shiny hehe just kidding lol). I do get demanding sometimes but who doesn’t right? I like to dress up, do my hair and make up and then other days i could care less what I look like unless I’m going out lol. Well its not often i go out on a date but when i do i like to keep it simple low key and safe for both (because i have kids is the only reason.) Meet for coffee or lunch or dinner and see where it goes from there a nice day in the park or a walk maybe a movie once we get to know each other a bit(if you can handle the kind of movies i like) or if you let me drive a lost adventure around the city lol(i get lost easily).(the only person to call up my mother from the city to ask where i was while i was walking around the city) lol. But if you have another idea (other then sex) run it by me and see what i think about it, you might be surprised.
