About Me

So about me........I like to think i'm a pretty fun girl. I'm usually down for whatever with good company. I'm the youngest of 11 kids, so I'm really good at sharing and not so good at keeping secrets ( well, not really that I cant keep something i know is a secret, i just cant ever tell what is a secret and what isn't, so if there is something you don't want me to tell anyone, you need to preface it with "this is a secret, please don't tell anyone") Moving on..... My 11 year old son is AWESOME and my greatest accomplishment to date..lol(cuz I'm a hater). I'm pretty adventurous..love roller coasters, and want to try sky diving and bungee jumping. I also like road trips a lot! That first year was tough, and I was considering going back, but the dust has settled, and we're now diggin the PNW.I was an athlete all my life, so i love playing and watching sports, and am pretty passionate about fitness and nutrition. Just went wine tasting for the first time, and had a blast (not just cuz i was drunk either! I like some pop, rap, hip- Ok, I honestly couldn't tell you the difference between some of these genres..lol, but I just know I like a variety. I'm into some for the beat, and some for the words. As for goals and aspirations, my biggest goal is to raise my son to be happy, healthy, and successful in whatever he chooses to do. For myself, I think Id like to get my RN at some point (I'm so close that it just makes sense) and after that pursue a degree and career in my real passion, Holistic Medicine/Nutrition. I'm not in a rush though, i feel like my son's needs come first right now and I'm enjoying his childhood. What I'm looking for:People who want to be friends first. There is so much pressure with dating in general, let alone internet dating. Its more fun if you let go of your expectations, and just be yourself. Statistically, the odds are not on our side, so lets just meet up and get to know each other and determine if we even want to go on a date. Maybe we will just want to keep in touch as friends(I consider this a WIN!)While sharing interests is comforting, its always exciting to learn something new. The biggest characteristic that I struggle with in others is arrogance. I'm not very tolerant of it. It could be because I don't like that aspect of myself, and find it hard to contain around another arrogant person...not totally sure, but it just irks me. drinks or coffee, and sooner than later. Its hard to feel a connection with someone unless you meet em in person.

Woman. 34 years old. Zodiac sign: Virgo.

Looking for: man. In age: 31-41

Before I say anything, let me just say: make me laugh and I'm yours. I strive to find a man that can keep me entertained in that regard. Ok, here goes:My self-summary:Self-professed nerd with a heart of gold. Ok, maybe not solid gold, but would you believe gold plated? I'm typically very honest and up front about everything. I don't like keeping things inside; that's what my body parts are for :)Originally from So Cal, I like to laugh and learn and love and am doing my best to just enjoy life, despite crap that may get thrown my way. What I’m doing with my life:Livin' it! I don't know how to answer this one. Ummmm, well I'm trying to enjoy my life? Does that work? Are they asking for a five year plan here, or what?I’m really good at:Making people laugh. And laughing. Oh yeah, and graphic/web design. But mostly the laughing part.Work-wise, I am a freelance graphic & web designer with a marketing background that specializes in software user interface design. The economy has made it more difficult to keep the "freelance" aspect of my work as steady as it has been at its height, but I have been laid off from enough liquidating dot-com companies to realize that I have no desire to work for "the man" that has no vested interest in me. Being self-employed has allowed me to work on my self-discipline as well as allowed me to teach myself new aspects of my business I wouldn't have learned as an employee elsewhere. The one part of sole-proprietorship I will never like and never get used to is collections. I hate making collection calls; I wish everyone would just pay for the work they commissioned :(Anyway! Enough about my work! I like what I do, but this is not something that I focus on all the time. I AM able to separate business from pleasure. The first things people usually notice about me:I'm tall, and I smile a lot. Other than that, you'll have to ask them.Music: Arcade Fire, Sia, Massive Attack, Radiohead, Rachael Yamagata, Air, Adele, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Blonde Redhead, Death Cab for Cutie, Goldfrapp, DJ Shadow, Junkie XL, Beastie Boys, Pogo, Ulrich Schnauss, The Flaming Lips, Frédé I pretty much like everything except country and heavy metal. 1, Star Wars (older episodes only - (Mostly everything else I read is online. I can't help it, I'm of the digital age and have a short attention span, so news sites and blogs are what I'm about at the moment. Oh, and please PLEASE don't *** you liked Atlas Shrugged. Please. Just. Don't. Do. It. Okay?Food: Sushi, a great steak, Thai food... and I'm good with pretty much everything else except Indian food and super spicy foods. The six things I could never do without:-laughter-my supportive and loving family-;-my laptop/phone/technology in general-great sex-- not having a car makes getting around difficult. But after THAT then I like to go out. Nothing crazy, but drinks with friends or a dinner out is always fun. I am also not averse to a night at home with a good movie and/or good company. I'm easy when it comes to these things.I’m looking for:Ages ***Near me (I'm serious.)Who are singleFor long-term datingYou should message me if:-You found humor in this profile.-You think you might like to know more about me.-You are going to space and need a cool nerd-girl to accompany you.A few other things:-I've come to the realization that I am an extremely affectionate person, and need someone equally as affectionate for a mate. It works out best for both parties, trust me.-I prefer passionate/aggressive men that know when to be tender. I said "aggressive men", not "***holes". Know the difference.-Chivalry is a huge turn on. Huge. Many a points are scored when my date is chivalrous.- I'm tall and I'm curvy and I love how I look, and if you don't feel the same about me, then good luck finding someone willing to put up with your superficiality. I'm a healthy human being and am not interested in being judged by the likes of you or anyone else for that matter.-Also, please don't message me if you are extremely religious or a Republican because I can tell you right now that it will not work out between us. Trust me, I've tried.***Oh yes, and one other thing... I'm starting to come to the unfortunate conclusion that the majority of men on here are either complete trolls or totally full of shit. I hate to burst your bubble, boys, but I'm not interested in a one night stand, and I'm not looking for some ***hole that thinks it's fun to try (operative word being "try") to take advantage of a nice girl. I realize I live in La La Land, but I have no interest in playing these ridiculous mind games boys seem to love playing. I am a real person and would appreciate being treated with respect. If that doesn't sound like your cup of tea, then feel free to move on to the next one, mmkay? Ideally drinks out or a somewhat quiet dinner somewhere quaint. I don't think that going to a movie or a concert on a first date is ideal. I'd like to get to know you, and don't think I can in such a loud setting. Also, I don't think that getting coffee is a good first date, either. I've been on a few of those and walked away feeling like I had been on an interview, not on a first date.

Hi I am a full time single working mom of a 12 year old girl which will be 13 in September. I am looking for someone that likes me for who I am. I have deleted my profile on plenty of fish so many times. I seem to be a magnet for all the wrong men. Are you different from all other guys? Prove it if you are! Stop & get something to drink & take a drive & talk to get to know each other.
