I'm not much of a city girl and love to spend most of my time camping, or hiking in the woods, or paddling in my boat. Winter time, I'm usually crosscountry skiing in our local spots. There's nothing like hitting the trails after work with a headlamp and then stopping at the pub for a pint. I can't wait for the snow to fall! I really want to take up back-country skiing this winter and would love someone who would join me on some of those trips. About me.... I used to play squash in university and I'd love a good game of squash! Just another idea...My job lets me take kids outdoors by either sending them on a massive 5 day canoe trip, or by making them survive the winter chills in a snowcave. Hello! There is so much to do here, and I have had so much fun exploring this city and getting the most from what it has to offer. I love going to baseball games, dancing, hiking, skiing (I tried snowboarding, I sucked...), trying new restaurants, and anything else that looks adventurous! I enjoy going to concerts and listen to new bands, but I'm in to normal music, not much of a indi-music kind of girl. I am 30 and have worked hard to get to where I am. I still have many goals for life, but I have already accomplished so many. I traveled to Europe for 3 months and explored 12 different countries. It was absolutely incredible, and an experience I will never forget. I hope to keep traveling in my life, so if you love to travel, that is a wonderful bonus! I want to someday own a house I can fix up and make my (our) own, with a yard for a dog or two (I'm not really a cat person), along with a family. I love a person that can make me laugh, make me think, and make me think outside the box. I will do the same, I promise. My favorite nights are spent cooking with friends (or my man!), drinking wine, and staying warm in this freezing weather.I'm trying this website cause I'm tired of dating boys from the bar. A wonderful first date would be something creative, perhaps taking a cooking class together, or wine-tasting at a local restaurant.
