About Me

I am an eternal optimist and wear my heart on my sleeve. I've been a registered nurse for 10 years and am mother to two of the best little guys around! When I have spare time I love to read, cook, craft, go to concerts, or just chill on the patio and relax. My job and my children are my world. The patients I care for are family and my children are the lights that keep me going. I am very close with my parents and siblings and have a fabulous circle of friends! I intend to go to graduate school and continue my nursing education someday; between work and the boys time isn't exactly on my side right now. I love to teach and mentor. I'm very sarcastic (although not very good at it) and have a knack for finding the good in everyone I meet. I am a Christian and believe that God is bigger than any storm I may face. It is important for me to find someone to share in my walk!I love to laugh and have a good time! No movies. We can't get to know each other in a theater!

Woman. 31 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.

Looking for: man. In age: 28-38

I love to travel :) I spend most of my time excersizing, my new favorite thing is running....I have been learning to run and it's more difficult then what I thought...wish me luck ;) My friends and family mean the world to me. They have been there for me when I need them & vice versa. First dates are always awkward to some extent. I'm an all around fun girl who will make it less awkward for ya by making you laugh :) I'm down for coffee or drinks and we'll take it from there.

Woman. 33 years old. Zodiac sign: Aries.

Looking for: man. In age: 30-40

Recently moved to The Heights and looking for someone special. I'm a great cook and love watching sports. I run ***times per week and try to stay pretty fit. I enjoy church and watching my nieces and nephews. My age limits are nothing below 29 and nothing above 45 years old. If you are in your 50's or 60's, thank you, but I'm not interested. I also want a Caucasian and Christian man, so if you are of another faith or ethnicity, I wish you the best of luck in your search, but we are not a good match. One more thing, if you can only manage to post pictures of yourself that are half naked photos in the bathroom mirror, we are not a good match. If your idea of a good first contact, is "Hey baby, your HOT" or "Let me sniff it" we are not a good match. Please don't contact me.Someone recently asked me what I'm looking for in a man. The truth is I'm really not sure anymore. Since I grew up in the country, I appreciate the simple life that that country provides. I've lived in the city now for a long time and I love that life too. I guess I'm looking for someone who can blend in both worlds. We could stay at home and watch a football game and drink a beer with friends one night and head into the city and have a nice dinner and drink great wine with friends another. Answers to meetville suggested questions: Hobbies: dancing, cooking, gardening, watching college sports. (I'm a pretty darn good country dancer, but I actually love hip-hop dancing!!!)Goals: Career wise, I have reached my goal. What makes me unique: I HATE "The Bachelorette" and ALL of the housewives on reality TV!!! I would NOT force you to watch that stuff!!!!Music: I love country music, especially older country, but, I do still listen to hip-hop and pop especially when working out. Before the first date, I prefer to meet for coffee or a drink after work. First dates can be very awkward if we don't like each other from the get go. I would be fine with dinner at a nice place, McDonalds won't cut it!!!.

Don't want to break any records or paint the city red. I just want the simple things that are within easy reach, yet are overlooked.Ultimately I want to find someone for a long-term relationship. Things I dream about: Living by the ocean one day. Or in a Mediterranean country. Having a house with a backyard/garden. And lots of skylights. In the last years I realized I like cars a lot, especially classic ones. So add that to the list. Traveling more.I am educated, intelligent, a little on the impatient side. I choose to be true to myself and my feelings and I might act on impulse. I am however very disciplined and have a good head on my shoulders. Open mind and open heart.I know what I like/want and I can be particular about those things, even if I tend to get carried away easily.Low tolerance for games and people who take the easy way out.I see dating as a means to an end, not as a social/sampling activity. I am looking for something with potential to go somewhere... real friendship is always an option, casual dating is definitely NOT.Ready for something exciting to happen, but also enjoying peace and quiet indoors.Love travel and nature, but not a fan of the sleeping in the woods experience. But, I will take my time in meeting someone, quality vs. quantity. Good company can make any activity spectacular, just as mediocre company can spoil the most special situations. If I contact you first, I am simply showing interest and opening the door for communication. I would still like the man to be the man and do the sweeping off my feet part... A bit old-fashioned that way ;)I don't use the chat feature, and definitely won't respond to messages limited to "hi" or "hello".Or to meet-me notifications. So if you are interested in establishing some communication, make an effort to actually transmit a thought, emotion or something ...please write more than "hi, how are you".Also - and this will sound terrible - , even though I love all animals, I prefer not to have pets living in my (or your) house. Especially dogs. I know, not very nice of me, but that's how it is. I like a clean house, one that smells good, is inviting and doesn't make you want to turn around and run. This is based on previous experience. If you can prove me wrong, I am willing to keep an open mind about it :)
