This profile is a little different to most you’ve probably experienced. It’s longer for one. It’s intended to give a little more insight into who I am as a person. I’m looking for a companion as well as a friend who is as passionate as he is reasonable. I’d also appreciate if you’ve got your life together. What I mean is, you have a stable job, a place to call your own and reliable transportation. If you have these things you’re doing well for yourself. Lastly, I’m looking for patience. I’m a little socially awkward at first, and like many people I have flaws. But I’m always looking to improve. Give me the chance. I’ve met a lot people on here who know exactly who they are and what they want and that’s great. I’m not there yet. I’m ever evolving, trying to better myself, trying simply to make my way. Like any human being I strive for more but I’m not unhappy with my life. It is modest. I make a decent living and now I would like to find someone to share my life with. I am a poet, a geek, and a sci-fi fan. As an English major I tend to look up new and interesting words to use in the right context. My favourite word right now is Machiavellian . As a drama minor I love movies and plays and tv shows.I love to laugh and dance, hang out with friends for dinner or just to talk, go to the movies, go to the beach in the summer or just a walk around town. I try to get to the gym at least three days a week and try to keep fit and healthy which is hard to do cause I love food. Not that I pig out on junk food, I just like carbs. I’m not really into sports. Sorry sports fans, I just don’t get the attraction but I’ve lived in a family of football (English)fanatics so I’ll listen when you talk about it I just don’t know if I can pretend I’m interested.I work in Insurance as a junior underwriter. I just fell in really. I’m making it work but I’m also looking for something to really drive me, so I’m not sure if I’ll be in insurance forever.I am family oriented and want one of my own some day. Don’t worry, that doesn’t mean my womb is screaming at me or anything.And I’m Catholic. Don’t judge me on that alone, talk to me first. I don’t really fit in anywhere. Hey guys! I'm looking to get out there and enjoy life with that special someone. My hobbies include volunteering at the local soup kitchen, zumba classes, taking my pup to the dog park, and traveling. There are so many other things I'd like to try though. Looking for a man taller than me when I'm in heals, kissing height at least, there is something about being able to jump into someone's arms and not have them fall over;) I see eyes and a nice smile first but love strong arms. Prefer a man that looks like he can protect me and not me protecting him. I've made serious changes to my lifestyle with exercise, I'm not to where I want yet but am dedicated to getting there and want someone who keeps me motivated to do so. I work full time and am a full time mom during the week with some additional weekends, so my schedule is busy but when my kids are with their dad I do enjoy getting out with friends. I love motorcycles and I might be ready to learn to ride my own. Love live music as i love to dance and my exes have been in bands,I'm not a groupie just happen into it;) I learned to shoot this year and love it. I understand sports though I don't often watch. Live sports are always better but some games at home with friends brings more enjoyment to it. Hockey is my fav and the kids love it too so hopefully we will check out more games next year. We frequent the YMCA and movies. I'm down to earth. God is part of my life but I will never be a bible thumper. I sin. I focus on living life to do unto others as I want done unto me and in that I have experienced karma and didn't like her. Far from perfect and I don't expect it either, just some effort.If you have kids and an ex I hope that it's a friendly one like mine. Staying away from that drama. Having a job is important, I am not wanting a sugar daddy but I don't make enough to support another person and want to get somewhere in life. Home ownership and retirement with travel are future plans. Love kissing in the rain, walks on the beach and rides anywhere and everywhere. Im easy going drinks, dinner and conversation.
