If you were to ask my friends to describe me in a few words, they would say I am fun loving, outgoing, and compassionate. At least, that's what they'd say if they want to stay on my good side. In fact, I work with them every day as a special education teacher. It's rewarding and I get to be around some great kids all day. A little closer to home, I also enjoy dancing and live music, entertaining friends and family with dinner parties, and going to museums and art galleries. Overall, I'm a caring, artsy, family-oriented, down to earth, low maintenance kinda person. I'm a great listener and I'll actually pay attention to what you're saying, rather than just nodding and waiting for my turn to talk. I'm looking for someone with some of the same interests, but it would be nice if he could introduce me to new things, too. I would like to meet someone who is ready for a serious relationship as well as family oriented. Someone who is stable but adventurous, with a real passion for life and trying new things. My life is not too far off from a fairy tale. I am surrounded by friends and family who love and support me whatever I do in life. My parents have been married for 35 years, and I have never once seen them actually fight or disrespect eachother. I think its jaded me on relationships, because I expect so much. I'm shy and outspoken all at the same time. I'm strong willed and stubborn, but aware of it enough to know when to back down. I can be pretty shy and slow moving when I first meet people and unfortunately I think some people may take it the wrong way. My family, friends and puppies mean the world to me. I'm here because ulitmately I would like to fall in love, get married, own a home and have children. The American dream right? I'd like that, or at least some form of it that fits me. That being said, I'm not looking to run out and fall in love with the next man that pays me some attention. I know my worth and I know what I deserve from a partner.
