So a little about me…I am one of the few true Northern VA natives you will ever meet. Yes, we really do exist! People in general say I remind them of the girl next door. First and foremost, I’m looking for new friends but I’m hoping in the end to meet “Mr. Right.” I think one can never have too many friends in their lives and it’s proven that it’s best friends who make for great boyfriends and even better husbands. Yes, I'm a hopeless romantic. So a little about you…Dog lovers are a requirement obviously. I’’t smoke and isn’t a huge drinker. I’m looking for someone who compliments me both figuratively and literally, has a great sense of humor, is financially and emotionally secure and most importantly independent. (I'm not looking for someone to be with me ***.) It would also be nice if you are open to marriage and kids. Not any time soon, but in the future. (Don't worry boys I won't use you for a free meal, I have no problem paying for my own.) If we don't click, hopefully we can at least enjoy some good conversation before going our separate ways. My life is not too far off from a fairy tale. I am surrounded by friends and family who love and support me whatever I do in life. My parents have been married for 35 years, and I have never once seen them actually fight or disrespect eachother. I think its jaded me on relationships, because I expect so much. I'd rather be in a seedy bar with good company then a club dancing any day of the week. I enjoy all sorts of art and crafting, like drawing, jewelry making/ silversmithing, and just being creative. I'm shy and outspoken all at the same time. I'm strong willed and stubborn, but aware of it enough to know when to back down. I can be pretty shy and slow moving when I first meet people and unfortunately I think some people may take it the wrong way. My family, friends and puppies mean the world to me. I'm here because ulitmately I would like to fall in love, get married, own a home and have children. The American dream right? I'd like that, or at least some form of it that fits me. That being said, I'm not looking to run out and fall in love with the next man that pays me some attention. I know my worth and I know what I deserve from a partner. Any good woman does ;) Also, I love to hang out in dive bars and just weird obscure places where my friends and I have a good time. Turns out they're not such good places to meet men. Not that the internet appears to be much better...haha. I have a fairly good idea of what qualities Im looking for in a man:* *Someone who is financially responsible. Doesnt mean you need to have a lot of money, just be responsible about what you do have.*Someone with a job, or at least a legitimate plan for life.

Hi,I've never seriously done this before but have tried most all other avenues and I am very tired of the bar scene.I would desribe myself as someone who has a lot of ideas, I try to be as honest as I can, but I hate the games, you got a problem with something I said or do just tell me don't run away and hide or whatever. I do try hard to see the best in people and tend to get burned so I try not to let that effect what I do now but sometimes it creeps in so bear with me. =) I love a good night out letting my hair loose and tiring it up but I would say for the most part I am a home body who is perfectly fine curled up watching t.v. or movies and just listening to music.I would say I'm kind of a guys girl in the fact that I love sports, watching and particapting. I love most kinds of music and movies.I am a politically active person and tend to be highly involved in the process to the degree that I know a lot of elected people.
