I am a funny, compassionate, and honest person! I enjoy being active, whether it's a stroll on the beach, kayaking, traveling, wine tasting, or a hike. I spent my childhood, adolescence,and my early adulthood competitively swimming, playing soccer, and running track.I am a fan of Sunday football: I watch the Giants and Jets, but the Steelers have my heart! I'm also a life-long Islanders fan, but the Penguins are a close second.I loved every second of it.... it truly is an amazing city! This would also explain my love for the Steelers and Penguins!!I work very hard and I worked even harder to achieve the life, personal, and professional goals I wanted to accomplish. I appreciate the finer things in life (going out to nice dinners, shows, etc.), but also enjoy simplicity (picnic in the park, listening to a band, snuggling on the couch, or watching a movie).I am an occupational therapist and am incredibly passionate about what I do. I work with children with special needs from birth to age 12. My career is a huge part of who I am and keeps me very busy! I also volunteer for various organizations and even more so to my own "special" causes. It is important to me that I give back, as I am incredibly grateful for the life I have worked for and been given. I am extremely family oriented and value my friendships tremendously. I am the youngest of three and have 5 nieces and nephews who I adore. They definitely keep family time and holidays fun and entertaining to say the least :).I am not looking for any particular "type", but I do want a partner who eventually wants to get married and have a family, who values hard work and education, and is COMPASSIONATE. I want someone who is going to contribute equally to their career and household and share responsibility to create the best life possible. Good COMMUNICATION goes without saying!     I love to camp, fish, hike... If you can help me perfect my horseshoe skills... I would be forever grateful.... I'm trying to win the family horseshoe trophy at our annual camping trip!I have been told I have a great sense of humor...
