One of the first things you should know about me is that I'm a teacher and a coach and I absolutely love what I do for a living. I also just recently became a certified personal trainer. With that said, I don't spend every minute in a gym but I do enjoy being healthy, working out, and keeping active. My friends would describe me as a caring individual who is always there for them. I'm the type of person that can be happy sitting on a deck enjoying a drink and some great conversation or jumping in the car to take a late night drive to the beach to walk the boardwalk. I also grew up being very athletic and I would be more inclined to join in on a softball game then sit on the sidelines. Then after the game, I would look forward to cuddling on the couch and watching a movie. When the weather is nice, I like to soak it up as much as I can. I am looking for a guy that has a romantic side, an athletic side, and an intellectual side. Someone I could get lost in conversation with for hours or enjoy a day at an amusement park or museum. I enjoy spending time with the person I'm dating but I think it's important to have some similarities but also many differences to keep it interesting. I love to try and experience new things. I must also admit that attraction and a great sense of humor are very important along with the obvious characteristics. I am at the point in my life where I am ready to meet the person I want to be with. Someone who is a good mix of maturity and fun! A great first date is meeting somewhere that we can talk and get to know each other.

In a nutshell: I'm a rather wonderful, unique, compassionate, sarcastic, silly, daydreamer of a woman looking for an understanding, smart, kind, pleasant, somewhat doting, and VERY lovable guy. I love to banter and feel just about anything can make a great conversation. I am very communicative (translation - sometimes I talk a lot). But I'm pretty good at listening too. I have an awesome daughter though we're heading into the teenage years, so that adjective is subject to change. My family is very important to me. I spend a lot of my spare time with my parents and my sister (as well as my daughter of course).We share our home with two dogs, a cat and some fish. Some days are crazier than others.I work full time as an attorney, but the hours vary. Some weeks are insanely busy and others are pretty slow. I keep hearing it's the life of a litigator - feast or famine. I don't travel often with work, but it does happen on occasion. Most recently, I spent a week in Taiwan. That was my first trip out of the country and quite the experience.I try to travel at least once per year for vacation. We're trying to knock out all 50 states which is a slow, but fun, process. From staying on a working goat farm, to visiting DisneyWorld or the nation's capital, and even to diamond mining, there's no way to predict what the next vacation will be.
