About Me

Well, I work full time, as well as go to school full time, and am a single mother of a beautiful 6 year old little boy... with all that said, I don't have much free time for hobbies. I like hanging out, playing cards, seeing movies, going out to a bar occassionally. I'm open to trying new things! There isn't much that scares me. I love the simple things in life; rollercoasters, playing at the park, reading a good book, etc. I've been a juvenile diabetic since I was 3, and am on an insulin pump. I am a manager for a process serving company. We serve legal documents for attorneys to people-mainly in foreclosure. I love music, and concerts. Mostly classic rock, but some of everything. Anything that makes you want to get up and dance is my kind of music. I've also recently quit smoking..AGAIN. GO ME! ;) I'm not perfect, yet, but will be soon LOL. I'm working my ass off (literally) to get into great shape, so would love to find someone into working out who could give me some pointers. I am doing it the right way with eating right and working out, so it's a slow process, but loving seeing the results. I've lost over 40 lbs so far, found new loves of hiking amd bike riding. I've been told I'm movie deprived, but that doesn't stop me from randomly quoting all kinds of movies on a daily basis. I love to be silly and make people laugh. There's nothing better than someone who can laugh with me, and at themselves. I'm a sucker for good conversation; however, I've learned that just becsause someone is good at talking does not mean they are always so good at life. I'd like to find someone who knows a good thing when they come across it. I'm overall happy with life and try to be positive as much as possible. My idea of a good first date is somewhere you can talk and get to know each other better; maybe just going out to dinner and drinks (or my new favorite, coffee!)... something relaxed and easy-no pressure! Always up for a little friendly competition at Dave and Busters too!

    I can put on here that I'm smart, funny, easy going, and the usual BS, but isn't that what all the profiles say...? So, I'll say that I'm all of those things but I can be a pain in the butt and a bit stubborn at times, too I'm not a perfect person but I recognize that. I don't like drama and try to avoid it whenever possible. I try to volunteer at least once a month (karma and I haven't always gotten along, so we're working on our relationship). I consider myself to be a fun person and try not to take myself or life too seriously. I'm independent, have a steady job (that I actually like - most of the times) and, in general, have my life together; I'm just missing someone else to enjoy it with. I enjoy traveling, when I can; hanging out with friends doing anything and nothing; going to local events and/or finding unique things to do around the city (did you know that there's an observatory in Broward and on Saturdays its free for the public? I found that on one of my efforts to find something interesting to do; haven't been yet, but I will). I like movies, sporting events, concerts, etc. (so...the usual stuff). I'm the kind of girl that loves my heels and a reason to wear them, but I'm just as comfortable in flip flops; I'm girly but not afraid to get my hands dirty either. I'd love to find someone that challenges me; makes me want to be a better person. I am just looking for someone that complements me - the ying to my yang. If you actually read all of that and didn't just stop at the pictures say "bonus points".Anything else, just ask...I'm an open book. I think that the first "meeting" should just be coffee or drinks...see if there's chemistry beyond the *** if there is then I think that things will fall into place.
