About Me

Six words to describe me... fun, smart, independent, confident, honest, and encouraging. Although my career is very important to me, I really try to find a good balance in life. Being mostly open minded and trying new things are qualities that I want to have in a relationship. I know myself very well and try to surround myself with others with the same self-awareness. I would describe myself as a "floater," meaning I hang out with all types of people and can be hanging out in many different types of social scenes. I enjoy cooking as well as dining out, but I'm not a huge fan of chain restaurants. My musical interests are all over the place from hip-hop to bluegrass. I don't really have anything else to say at the moment...maybe a little mystery is a good thing... I would be interested in a first mini-date. I think it is important that relationships progress in a natural way, so meeting for a coffee or for ***drinks is probably a good start for me. I feel this gives both parties a chance to feel the other person out, just in case one or both of you want to classify the meeting as a friendship or talk about an official date. For the official date, I would love to be surprised.

    Well, for starters I am a nerd, always have been and always will be. I love playing video games, watching cheesy horror flicks, and basically being a dork. I am very big into music, I mostly like punk and alt rock, but I will basically listen to anything that sounds good, which usually ends up NOT being country, but I'm open minded. I like all kinds of movies, even a lot that most people would consider "; films. But horror films have a special place in my heart. Freddy is my fave movie villain! I ended a very long term relationship a little more than a year ago and am ready to move on and start my life over. I live in an extremely small town and also work full time on third shift, so it makes it hard to meet people. I also have a tendency to be quite shy when I first meet someone. Okay, I guess now this is where I will say what I am looking for in a man. I am looking for a guy that is childlike enough to sit around and play games with me or laugh at stupid comedies. Man enough to handle a big girl, I might have a larger body, but my heart is just as big and if given the chance I would do nearly anything for someone I care about. Romantic enough to cuddle with me while watching tv or a movie. Adventurous enough to just go out and have fun and do whatever sounds good, and I'm not talking bars, I'm talking more of conventions, the renaissance fair etc. :) I just want a sweet, fun guy who wants a real relationship with a real girl and isn't just looking to "settle". I've tried this a couple times without much luck, but hey, third times a charm, right? Well, I am extremely easy to please, so my idea of the perfect first date is really just getting to know someone. Going somewhere to talk and just hang out would be great. I'm really into movies and such so a movie would be fun or going to play some games and whatnot. Just some real time to talk and learn more about that person that I am on a date with and see if we click. :)
