I am focused and driven and know what I want in life. I am caring and honest and don't like to play games with other people's feelings. I am very straight forward and blunt at times, but I do it with the best intentions. I work hard and play hard, but in the end I do what I have to do. Family is very important to me. I am very fortunate to come from a good family and to have great friends. They are my rock and without them I would be lost. I look for someone with similar values. Someone who is supportive and encouraging with life's endeavors. I look for the balance between our qualities, the whole yin and yang philosophy. I like someone who is witty and sarcastic. A person who is funny and sincere. I love good conversation followed by red wine, or a dark beer. I can't relate to someone who always eats the same thing and never tries anything new. Life is an adventure...stop eating like an 8yr old and try something new, live a little. I am looking for someone who doesn't take life too seriously. This person must take life with a grain of salt. Someone to share inside jokes with and just enjoy laughing and having a good time with. I think getting a drink and a little conversation is ideal for the first date, this way if there is a connection maybe we could plan something afterwards.

There are actually more and more great local sushi places. I don't think the entire night needs to be planned out though. Dating should be fun and spontaneous - heck, LIFE should be fun and spontaneous.
